Role and job responsibilities of an advertising manager


The general role of an advertising manager is to form and direct the business strategy of advertising, to implement advertising campaigns, and to supervise the various advertising-related departments. Duties of an advertising manager:

To plan and prepare promotional strategies To prepare budgets for advertising campaign To coordinate activities among the various departments of the agency To mount contacts for promotional campaigns To collect and sort information needed to make advertising campaigns To keep update of the trends of industry To motivate and train the team to meet objectives
