<u> <b>Narsimhas VARS and Navamamsa Dasa</b></u> I am presenting here a case study on application of Navamamsa Dasa as given in a book

of Sachin Malhotra of Bharatiya Vidya Bhawan. The Data is taken from Sri Narasimha Rao latest write up on VARS in Astro writing. I carried out the exercise just to authenticate the theory of Mr Malhotra's Navamamsa Dasa and try offer rational explanations for the given events. This also stems from desire, to some extent, to validates correctness of Navamsa, the dasa and the Karaka system followed (7 Karka of KNR) and Lahiri Chitrapaksha ayanamsa in the least. Under No circumstances it reflects on SSS (lest there be an uncalled for debate). <u>Case 1.</U> Birthdata: 1971 September 12, 8:25:30 am (IST), Guntur, India Event 1: Marriage on 1993 August 1 Event 2: Left motherland on 1995 January 6 Event 3: Childbirth on 1996 February 18 Event 4: Childbirth on 1998 August 21 <u>Navmsa Dasa:</U> Li rising as Navamsa. Navamsa Dasa as follows Li till 12 - 09 - 75, Sc till 12 -09 -79, Sg till 12 -09 - 89, Cp till 12-09 -98, Aq till 12-09-02, Pi till 12-09- 10 and so on. Event 1: Marraige under Dasa Cp - Navamamsa Rasi aspected by DK Ju. AD was that of Ge which happens to be 9H of D-9, Containing by DK - Me aspecting 7th from Ge and 7H is also aspected by PK - Ju. That fits in perfectly well. Event 2: Left Mother Land. This occured in MD of Cp and Ad of Le. Le contains A& of D-9. From Le the 7H of long journies is aspected by Ra who is in 12H fro Le. Event 3. Child birth. This occured under Cp - Vi. From Cp the PK is in the 9H and The Vi has PK itself. That explains childbirth pretty well. Event4 : Childbirth. Again MD of Cp and AD of Sg. Sg contains UL of D-9. Is aspected by PK Ju. During AD is Sg, childbirth is possible and rational. Why all maj events in Dasa of Cp? Probably it contains LL of D-9 in 4H from D9 Asc indicating fulfilment of many desires.

<u>EXAMPLE 2: (PVR. Changed seconds to as given here)</u> Birthdata: 1970 April 4, 5:47:45 pm (IST), Machilipatnam, India (81e08, 16n10) Event 1: Marriage on 1993 August 1 Event 2: Left motherland on 1991 August 15 Event 3: Left motherland again on 1994 November 9 Event 4: Childbirth on 1996 February 18 Event 5: Childbirth on 1998 August 21 Event 6: Stood state first on 1987 May 28 and selected for IIT after 3 days Event 7: Lost job on 2002 August 12 Event 8: Got a promotion on 2008 September 1 Event 9: Uploaded the first homam manual on homam website on 2006 September 26
<u>Navamsa Dasa:</U> Ta rising as D-9 so start from Sc. Sc till -04-04-82, Sg till -04-04-84, Cp till 04-04-90, Aq till 04-04-97, Pi till0404-00, Ae till 04-04-09, Ta till 04-04-21 and so on.

<u>Event 6: Stood state first on 1987 May 28 and selected for IIT after 3 days.</U> This is under Cp Cn Navamsa Dasa. Cp has the PK Ju and aspects fifth rasi Cn having DK. From Cn the fifth house containing Sc is aspected by PK Ju. The academic achievement has to be top class. <u>Event 2: Left motherland on 1991 August 15.</u> This occurred under dasa of Aq Ae. . Aq is the tenth house of Navamsa. Ae is 12th house of Navamsa. GK which signifies 12H affairs is located in 2H of gains from Ae. The 3-9 axix is occupied by GK, AK and AmK, the individual going abroad for work during this time. <u>Event 1: Marriage on 1993 August 1.</u> This takes place during Aq Cn. From Cn, DK Me gains 11H position and is aspecting the 7H PK. This is the call of destiny to prepare ground for progeny and hence marriage. Since PK and DK are aspecting each other, this also signifies a Rajayoga and marriage by personal choice by falling in love etc. <u>Event 3: Left motherland again on 1994 November 9.</u> This event occurred under Aq Vi. Vi contains Ke and Vi is aspected by Ve, the GK from 10H. 9H has DK, the Me signifying long journey abroad probably accompanied by wife.12H is also aspcted by

MK and BK.

<u>Event 4: Childbirth on 1996 February 18.</u> This occurs under the period of Aq Sc. The PK, Ju is in 2H of gains from lagna and aspects the 9H of progeny. <u>Event 5: Childbirth on 1998 August 21.</u> Under period of Pi Le. Pi promises progeny DK being the 11H. It fructifies in sub period of Le as DK aspects it. Ma AmK is in the 5H to be a secondary factor. <u>Event 7: Lost job on 2002 August 12.</u> For loss of job the Amk must be in an adverse position. The event occurred in RD of Ae and sub period of Cn. In D-9 chart Ae is 12H. Ae has Amk placed in the 9H. Under Cn sub period the AmK is placed in 6H and aspcts 9H (12th from 10th) 12 and 3 (6 H from 10) Hs from Cn lagna. That explains the whole thing. <u> Event 8: Got a promotion on 2008 September 1.</u> This was blessed under Rasi Dasa of Ae and sub period of Pi. Overall, 10H from Ae forms a fine Rajayoga containing PK aspected by DK. See that Amk is in the 9H. During adverse period under same dasa, the native lost job but under sub period of Pi he gets promotion. Pi as lagna is aspected by AK and Amk making the finest Rajayoga. 10H from Pi is aspected by Ma, the AmK, hence, a jump in career is guaranteed. <u>Event 10: Had a powerful mystical experience during meditation on 2005 June 10, which triggered signficant internal transformation in later years.</u> This event would be covered by Rasi Dasa of Ae and sub period of Sc . Ae is 12H in Navamsa and 8H in Rasi chart. It has influence of Sa over it in D-9, Sa being MK signifying self in Samadhi (connection of 4H and 12H as Sa aspects 12H from 4H). when the sub period of Sc begins, the AK and GK are in the 8H. It is self effecting subconscious. Ju and Su aspect lagna. Since 12H is not envolved this is not an awakening by 8h mystical experience. <u> Event 9: Uploaded the first homam manual on homam website on 2006 September 26 .</u> This event occurs under Ae Sg. Ae is 8H in Rasi and Sg is 8H in Navamsa containing AmK Ma (fire planet). From Ae, Rasi Dasa, Sg is 9th. So in rotation when Sg period of 9H rasi comes, the 9H results will fructify. From Ae the 9H contains MK Sa who is aspected by Ju and Su from the 2H. The Rasi in 9H is fiery Le. That should explain things. To my mind, it so far so good. Analysis of other examples given will follow in due course of time.

EXAMPLE 3: Birthdata: 1970 October 5, 12:29 pm (IST), 80e21, 15n49 Event 1: Marriage on 1999 January 24 Event 2: Childbirth on 2000 September 30 Event 3: Childbirth on 2003 June 23 Vi rises in Navamsa. Hence start dasa from Pi. Pi till 05-10-72, Ae till 05-10-81, Ta till 05-10-93, Ge till 05-10-2001, Cn till 05-10-2011 and so on. Event 1: Marriage on 1999 January 24. This event fructifies under Navamsa dasa of Ge and antar Dasa of rasi Cp. In D-9, Ge contains Ve, the karaka for marriage aspected by the AK. Cp itself contains DK Me and the Pk, Ju is in the second Rasi of gains aspecting the 7th. Good yogas for fruition of marriage. Event 2: Childbirth on 2000 September 30. This event occurs under Ge Ae. From Ae (AD) the PK Ju is is in 11H signifying gains in progeny and aspects Lagna, 4 and 7H. This augers well for begetting progeny. Event 3: Childbirth on 2003 June 23. This under Rasi (Navamsa ) dasa of Cn and antardasa of Vi. Cn dasa can give birth to a child as the Pk (Ju ) aspects Cn. Vi happens to the ascendant of D-9 and Ju aspects 11 and 2 H from Vi. Weak case but childbirth possible.

I faced some problems in this example but still satisfactory, I would say. EXAMPLE 4: Birthdata: 1970 November 4, 3:11:45 pm (IST), Lucknow, India (80e55, 26n51) Event 1: Marriage on 1997 July 15 Event 2: Childbirth on 2000 October 11 Event 3: Childbirth on 2004 May 21 Event 4: Experienced a samadhi (a higher spiritual state) on 2004 May 23 Event 5: Experienced very high spiritual states in the second half of 2011, especially towards the end of the year Le rising as D-9. The Navamsa Dasa will run from Le onwards. Event 1: Marriage on 1997 July 15. This event occurred under Sco Tau. From Sco his DK Mo is in the 9H and aspects the 7H, both confirming marriage. Added to that is aspect of PK on the seventh. Coming on to Tau, that is the 7H rasi of Sco and is aspected

by DK Mo. DK and PK both aspect 7H from Tau. Event 2: Childbirth on 2000 October 11. That occurred under Sco Li. Sco has adequate ingredients to promise progeny as explained above. The AD of Li has Ju the PK located in 5H from it. That blesses the individual with first child.

EXAMPLE 5: Birthdata: 1974 September 26, 7:41:10 am (IST), 81e12, 16n15 Event 1: Marriage in 1999 March Event 2: Childbirth on 2001 October 31 Event 3: Childbirth on 2006 January 22 Event 4: Started first job on 1997 August 25 Event 5: Promotion on 2001 January Event 6: Promotion on 2005 July

EXAMPLE 6: Birthdata: 1973 July 26, 9:48:10 pm (IST), Guntur, India (80e23, 16n13) Event 1: Marriage on 1999 January 24 Event 2: Childbirth on 2000 September 30 Event 3: Childbirth on 2003 June 23

EXAMPLE 7: Birthdata: 1972 June 1, 4:17:30 am (IST), Machilipatnam, India (81e08, 16n10) Event 1: Marriage on 1993 July 23 Event 2: Childbirth on 1994 November 7 Event 3: Childbirth on 1996 December 1

Event 1: Went abroad in 1997 August first week Event 2: Marriage on 2001 February 28 Event 3: Childbirth on 2004 May 5 Event 4: Childbirth on 2006 May 4

EXAMPLE 9: We will do something different in this last example. We will do what we normally have to do in real life examples. Let us take a chart and some events, rectify it and then verify if other events make sense too. This is the chart of India's former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. Birthdata: 1944 August 20, 7:12 am (IST), 72e49, 18n58 Event 1: Marriage on 1968 February 25 Event 2: Son Rahul Gandhi born on 1970 June 19 Event 3: Daughter Priyanka born on 1972 January 12 Event 4: Became India's Prime Minister on 1984 October 31 Event 5: Lost elections on 1989 November 28 Event 6: Assassinated on 1991 May 21 Event 7: Father died on 1960 September 8 Event 8: Mother Indira Gandhi assassinated on 1984 October 31 Event 9: Mother became Prime Minister of India on 1966 January 24 Event 10: Mother lost elections in 1977 March 24 Event 11: Mother became Prime Minister of India again in the middle of 1980 January
