Four Different Kinds of Love

1. Eros - includes passion or infatuation as well as sexual or romantic love 2. Storge - refers to the natural affection between a parent and child. 3. Phileo - refers to the intimacy that good friends share 4. Agape is sacrificial love -a commitment that motivates us to deny ourselves on behalf of another. This is the type of love the Lord had in mind when He commanded His followers to love one another.....

All Christian should live a life of love to the fullest because.......

I- WE ARE CONNECTED TO THE SOURCE OF LOVE-v.7

A) Love originated in God- "God is love B) Love orchestrated by God- Rom.5:5 C) Love operated by God- Gal.5:22

II- WE ARE CHANGED BY THE STRENGTH OF LOVE

From death to life, from darkness to light.... A) The work of this changes vs.9-10 the Son of God

B) The way of this changesJn.15:3;17:17 The scriptures of God C) The witness of this changesRom.8:16 The Spirit of God

III- WE ARE COMMANDED FOR THE SHOW OF LOVE

A) This love should be proclaimed B) This love should be proven C) This love should be practiced-
