-Veterans Reformation Project(For Homeless U.S. Military Veterans)

INCEPTION The Veterans Reformation (VRP) for Homeless Vets, is an all inclusive hybrid (federal/private sector support) program designed to address root causes of homelessness among U.S. military veterans and alleviate the impetus of these causes, while empowering, educating, and employing the same. Designed by a decorated military veteran who himself experienced the full gamut of social decay- suffering (undiagnosed, untreated) from acute POST TRAUMATIC-Stress- Disorder (PTSD), this former instructor of The Detroit Fire Department (EMS) Academy found himself homeless and eventually in prison resultant from a Heat of Passion response (learning of his former spouses infidelities). Having experienced firsthand the complete complement of veterans struggles and in command of the necessary educational and experiential background to function in a progenitorial capacity; some of his accomplishments include: y y y y y y y y Military Bearing Instructor (Detroit Fire Department) Finance Broker, Beverly Hills, CA Professional Actor (The X-Files FBI Agent Janus) Independent Motion Picture/Television Producer, Com Cast Founder DHQ (anti-domestic violence program) State Licensed (CA) Minister/Pastor (Fire of God Mens Ministry) CEO Three multimillion dollar motion picture production companies More

Only a highly qualified individual who has lived through the associated pitfalls of Homelessness, chemical dependency, and anti-social behavior can fully comprehend its root causes. Instead of succumbing to circumstances outside of his control, he dominated his surroundings surmounting a legendary comeback with one goal in mind LEAVE NO VET BEHIND To that end VRP was created.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM Military people need a military environment. The greatest discrepancy or disservice among all military branches has been the glaring lack of adequate separation counseling. Veterans have been let go into the world without any in-depth counseling preparing them for proper societal adjustment.

VRP firmly believes military veterans need to revisit a strong , structured, military environment retread, retrace and reacquire their lost military bearing coupled with the discipline central to military success. In (past) discipline lies (future) successful reintegration. Our veterans revisit a modified 10 week BASIC TRAINING CAMP promoting: DISCIPLINE MILITARY BEARING PHYSICAL TRAINING PSYCHIATRIC COUNSELING EXTENSIVE DEBRIEFING SOCIETAL TRAINING SKILLS/APTITUDE TESTING COMMUNICATION INSTRUCTION ANGER MANAGEMENT SUBSTANCE ABUSE COURSES

Successful completion of the facility allows recipients immediate access to: Permanent Housing Employment Vocational Skills Training (Job Placement) Ongoing VA/Private Sector Support

Fundamental eradication of Homelessness is the primary theme rehearsed throughout our commitment in creation deployment of VRP. No vet left behind is our motto. Working in concert with private sector employers/vocational institutions, the V.A. and a plethora of public supporters VRP will eliminate record numbers of Homeless U.S. military veterans (approximately 50,000 per year) through federal/private sector resources.

FUNDING Each camp processes roughly 5,000 veterans per annum, at a relative cost of $10,000 per vet. Our initial goal of ten (10) regionally based basic training camps represents roughly 50,000 retrained veterans over a (12) month period, with room for expansion as our model solidifies and congeals. For starters we will initialize one FLAG SHIP camp based on an existing military installation. The closer we replicate actual military conditions the better our mission is retraining U.S. military veterans by immersion/re-indoctrination in the military lifestyle. We must GO BACK to basics to reach and re-activate the dormant portion of the brain that functioned successfully while in military service. It is through this radical application or reactivation we believe behavioral modification is possible. There are soldiers after all soldiers who defended our nation in various capacities and have retained (somewhere) in their psyche the military bearing and discipline once instilled inside of them.

Our process is similar to a highly successful (Homeless Veterans) program offered in the Greater Los Angeles area by the Westwood VA Hospital: LA VETS. Our program differs from others in that we use modified Gestalt Theory in reintegration rather than Passive Aggressive Placement theory.

HOUSING The Housing Crisis is an esoteric BOON for VRP. Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac holds scores of properties on their rosters, many of which represent commercial or multifamily dwellings. Working together with Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac and select Bank Foreclosures, we will appropriate corresponding facilities. This is a symbiotic union. Our graduates will possess revenue producing income. Strategic housing, along with military style Feeding Plans (a central kitchen prepares food for our residential structures BREAKFAST/DINNER) provide overall mortgage payments, while simultaneously addressing rudimentary (veteran) needs.

EMPLOYMENT Arguably the most important facet of our program is provision of sustainable employment. Because our program is self-contained and works seamlessly within our story universe, proprietary jobs exist for successful candidates: y y y y y Telecommunications Construction Motion Picture/Television Production Culinary Arts Et. Al.

Veterans opting for additional vocational training may do so in a variety of career paths utilizing sister (scholarship) programs already in place for qualifying veterans. VRP greatly increases chances of success by providing necessary basics, e.g. Housing, Meals, Support Services, et-al. Vocational school graduates receive immediate proprietary JOB PLACEMENT via IN-HOUSE/EXISTING contracts.

SUMMARY VRP provides an exciting opportunity for Homeless U.S. military veterans to retrain and regain a portion of their lifestyle abandoned at military separation. It is through this retraining process and subsequent augmented services, we believe Homelessness among military vets can and will be eradicated.

While this program may not service the needs of every Homeless military veteran (vis--vis disabled, mentally impaired, et.al.) it is in our view a substantial harbinger of change for the able bodied homeless military veteran who wishes to regain his life. In the words of our founder Unless youve slept outdoors amid the rodent infested, urine drenched streets of Los Angeles, Skid Row and felt the associated degradation of homelessness one cannot possibly fathom nor imagine the inherent needs of these faltering individuals who once so proudly served our nation. Again Our MOTTO: LEAVE NO VET BEHIND!

* Please note recent $800 million federal allotment per Homeless U.S. military veterans.
