Akuas Daisies

I have learned soooo much on the internet and been comforted by other thread and yarn bearers! I love flowers and am now working toward another flower pattern collection. I prefer dimensional flowers, but am impatient: if a flower takes more than 90 minutes, it's not for me (as certain chrysanthemum patterns do). Anyway I'm delighted to have decoded my improvisation and refined it. Stitches
Adjustable ring Slip stitch Double crochet sl st dc T Chain Single crochet Treble Crochet ch sc trc

Adjustable ring Make a slip knot with your yarn leaving 3" long tail, leaving center loop open. Insert hook in top loop. yarn over and draw up loop. This is your Chain 1. (Do not count this as your first sc). Crochet over center loop and the yarn tail for the designated # of stitches in the first round. When finished, pull the tail to close the ring. Slip stitch (slst) Insert hook in next st, yarn over and draw through all loops. Single crochet (sc) Insert hook in next stitch and draw up a loop (2 loops on hook), yarn over, draw through both loops on hook. Double Crochet (dc) Yarn over, insert hook in next stitch and draw up a loop (three loops on hook) Yarn over and draw through two loops( two loops on hook). Yarn over and draw through two loops. Treble Crochet (trc) Yarn over twice, insert hook in next stitch and draw up a loop (four loops on hook) Yarn over and draw through two loops (three on loops on hook). Yarn over and draw through two loops (two loops on hook ). Yarn over and draw through last two loops

So here's Akua's Daisy Worked in continuous rounds Round 1 Round 2 Round 3 Round 4 In adjustable ring, ch 1, 5 sc in ring: 5 sc Sc in each sc: 5 sc Sc in each sc: 5 sc *Sl st, ch 3, trc, (ch 2, sl st: picot formed), trc, ch 3, sl st*, repeat * to * in each sc: 5 petals Fasten off, weave in ends.

Variation Round 1 Round 2 Round 3 Round 4

In adjustable ring, ch 1, 5 sc in ring: 5 sc Sc in each sc: 5 sc Sc in each sc: 5 sc *Sl st, ch 3, 2trc, ch 3, sl st*, repeat * to * in each sc: 5 petals Fasten off, weave in ends. Variation With color A: in adjustable ring, ch 1, 5 sc in ring: 5sc sc in each sc: 5 sc sc in each sc: 5 sc sl st to first sc, fasten off. join Color B in same spot *sl st, ch 3, trc, (ch 2, sl st: picot made), trc, ch 3, sl st*, in each sc: 5 petals Fasten off,weave in ends.
