Special Hazards: May be harmful if swallowed. May cause irritation. Avoid breathing vapors
and use with ventilation. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothes. Wash thoroughly after use.

First Aid Measures:


Eyes: Flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, occasionally lifting the upper and lower eyelids using cold water. Get medical aid. Skin: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash area with soap and water. If irritation persists, get medical aid. Ingestion: Give several glasses of milk or water. Vomiting may occur, however do not induce. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Inhalation: Remove from exposure and move to fresh air immediately. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Get medical aid. Notes to Physician: Treat symptomatically and supportively.

Proper Handling Instructions:


Handling: Wear protective clothing. Wash thoroughly after handling. Remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse. Use with adequate ventilation. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. Keep container tightly closed. Avoid ingestion and inhalation. Storage: Store in a tightly closed container. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from incompatible substances.

Appearance and odor: Clean with pungent acetic acid smell; Soluble in water.

Disposal Info and Clean-up


Absorb spill with inert material and place into waste container. Chemical waste generators must determine whether a discarded chemical is classified as a hazardous waste. Additionally, waste generators must consult state and local hazardous waste regulations to ensure complete and accurate classification.
