Steve Okine This past weekend the NBAall-star festivities began in Orlando FL.

The first nights festivities contained the celebrity basketball game in which Dwight Howard and Kevin Durant were the coaches. The game was filled with surprisingly good talent from the musicians and actors. Funny man Kevin Hart came with the comedic antics as always. The game was then followed by the Freshman/Sophomore game where New Jersey native Kyrie Irving made a showing. The main event of the weekend took place on Sunday, the NBAall-star game which came down to an exciting finish. Recent Saint Peters graduate Daniel Brown lets us know how he feels about the game. Dan Brown: In my opinion the all-star game was great. Cause my favorite player, Kobe Bryant, he got the Wand he was talking trash to Lebron. Of course Lebron choked, now Lebron is notorious for choking in games, you saw that in the playoffs last year and years before; he even choked in the all-star game. So, I was kinda happy to see that and you can see Lebron he was real distressed about it so, Kobe got into his head. So to me it was a great al-star game. Not everybody feels the way Daniel does, basketball enthusiast Terrence

Kessie also lets us know how he felt about NBA All Star weekend Terrence Kessie: The all star game was a real good one this year, you know. Eastern Conference actually put on a show in the forth quarter, you know they actually came back as soon as they put Lebron James in the game.

Such an eventful weekend. Can not wait to see what 2013 will hold for us. This is Steve Okine, with WKNJ 90.3.
