PERBEDAAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE KOOPERATIF JIGSAW DAN METODE KONVENSIONAL PADA MATA PELAJARAN

TIK KELAS X DI SMA NEGERI 5 YOGYAKARTA

Oleh Norlely Nurul Rifki NIM. 07520244015 ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan peningkatan hasil belajar TIK antara siswa yang mendapat perlakuan dengan metode Cooperative Learning tipe Jigsaw dengan siswa yang mendapat perlakuan dengan metode Konvensional pada kelas X semester 2 di SMA N 5 Yogyakarta. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas X semester 2 SMA N 5 Yogyakarta tahun ajaran 2010/2011 yang berjumlah 272 peserta didik dan terbagi dalam 8 kelas. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara purposive sampling. Sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 68 peserta didik dan terbagi dalam dua kelas yaitu kelas ekperimen dan kontrol. Analisis data untuk pengujian hasil penelitian mengunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji t untuk mengetahui perbedaan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen diberi perlakuan dengan menggunakan metode cooperative learning tipe Jigsaw sedangkan kelas kontrol diberi perlakuan dengan menggunakan metode konvensional. Kondisi awal masing-masing kelompok diukur dengan menggunakan pretest sedangkan pengaruh perlakuan masingmasing kelompok diukur dengan menggunakan posttest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan peningkatan hasil belajar pada kedua kelas dilihat dari nilai pretest, posttest dan gain. Perbandingan rata-rata nilai gain adalah 0,53 pada kelompok eksperimen dan pada kelompok kontrol sebesar 0,36. Setelah dilakukan uji hipotesis yang diperoleh dari hasil uji statistik Independent Sample T-Test diperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,013 atau nilai probabilitasnya < 0,05. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar TIK antara yang menggunakan Cooperative Learning tipe Jigsaw dengan metode Konvensional yang berarti bahwa hipotesis alternative (Ha) yang diajukan diterima dan hipotesis nol (Ho) ditolak. Dengan demikian metode Cooperative Learning tipe Jigsaw dapat digunakan untuk mata pelajaran TIK di SMA Negeri 5 Yogyakarta. Kata Kunci Jigsaw, konvensional, mata pelajaran TIK
