The Flap about MAP! MAP testing is upon us once again. Even though the actual test is only given to 3rd and 4th grade students ALL teachers and students prepare throughout the year for these state exams. All grade level teachers create testing environments throughout the year that match the environment of state testing so the children are familiar with the structure. Testing will take place April 11, 12, 18 & 19. We guard/monitor this time very closely for student success. Classroom interruptions are kept to a minimum. Teacher Appreciation Week April 30th - May 4th As a principal I schedule many appreciation events for our teachers during this week. Thank you coming from a parent and/or student means so much more. Your childs teacher LOVES what he/she does and does not expect or seek out appreciation on a regular basis. Together we can make Teacher Appreciation Week a special week for our teachers! Kindergarten Screening Kindergarten Screening will be held May 1st from 8:00AM - 3:00PM. Please call our office to set up your appointment. You will need to bring the following items to your appointment: Birth certificate, proof of residency, shot records, eye exam, and social security number.

Class Placement forms

Soon we will begin working on class lists for next year. If you have specific information regarding the placement of your student please pick up a form in our school office. The forms are due back to the office by May 1st. Reminder - you may NOT request a specific teacher.

Being loyal when loyalty is appropriate. Will be held Friday May 11th 5:30-8:00PM. Mark your calendars for a fun filled evening at Willard East.
