GONVARRI STEEL SERVICES ACQUIRES STEEL & ALLOY

(Madrid, April 3, 2012) Gonvarri Steel Services, a leading company in steel service centers, division of Gonvarri Steel Industries, has acquired the British company Steel & Alloy. Steel & Alloy is the biggest steel service center for automotive industry in the UK, with a 25% of market share and it is the strategic supplier of the main OEMs in the UK. The British Company has four manufacturing plants in Great Britain and another one in Turkey. Steel & Alloy reached in 2011 a turnover of 170 million Euros, and has over 200 employees.
