Great Place to Work Assignment # 2 Q # 1: How does your company measure up? Ans: I worked as an intern in the company. According to the twelve attributes shown in the case study, my company stands above average rating. Some of the attributes which my company possesses are that it provides good salaries to their employees and gives bonuses at the end of every year. It provides good facilities i.e. gym to their employees to stay physically fit. The food provided by the company to the employees is of good quality which helps to maintain good a health. These are the attributes due to which I ranked my company above average. Q # 2: What's the impact on your performance? Ans: As the company provides good facilities and it also provides weekly training which helps the employees to increase their technical skills. The company provides complete freedom to work as the employees like to which increases the interest in the job. The managers, supervisor and other staff of the company are very friendly and they treat their employees with care and respect and they are always available for the assistance. These are the factors which help me to focus and dedicated toward my task and it increases my performance greatly. Q # 3: Which needs would your company have to meet for you to be more fully engaged? Ans: The Company needs to improve some of the areas such as the environment is not very safe and comfortable which affects the health of employees. Beside from work there is no extracurricular activity i.e. sports and the company has not done any social work for the welfare of the society. These are the major areas which company needs to improve to make me fully engaged in the work.
