AMAZING ANIMALS

In the wild, red pandas seek satisfying safety and refuge in a number of places, mainly in the Himalayas and China. Also, they populate parts of Burma, Nepal, India, Bhutan, and Myanmar. Wherever a creature from this species is residing, its habitat should consist of deciduous or coniferous forests. In addition, a pretty consistent temperature as well as rainfall are mandatory for the wellbeing of this species. Collectively, the red panda population is about 11,000 to 20,000 worldwide. Even though red pandas are protected by laws in almost ever country that they inhabit, their population is still declining for a number of reasons. To help this problem, red pandas are sometimes placed in zoos so that they can be cared for and not harmed by the harsh conditions of the wild. In comparison to their large relative the giant panda, these creatures seem like dwarfs. Measuring 20 to 26 inches, not including their tail, they grow to be about the size of a house cat. Like all species, not all red pandas look exactly alike. Because of this, it was necessary to divide the species into two categories, or subspecies, the western red panda and the styans red panda. Each type has a slightly different appearance, but they both have many similarities. This unique animal was described by www.pluspets.net. They said It has reddish-brown fur, a long, shaggy tail, and a waddling gait due to its shorter front legs. The red pandas soft-looking fur makes you want to just go up and hug this adorable and amazing animal. A lot of a red pandas behavioral traits are much the same as a domesticated cat. Red Pandas begin their daily activity with washing their fur by licking their front paws and

massaging their back, stomach and sides. They also scrub their back and stomach along the sides of trees or rocks. Both of those things are also done by cats, although instead of rubbing against trees and rocks, house cats just rub against what ever is available to them. Mostly, red pandas are solitary animals, and are most active during the night, which makes them nocturnal. Although, this is not always the case. Additionally, red pandas mainly eat bamboo, but they are omnivorous and other things in their diet include eggs, birds, small mammals, plants, and berries.
