Subject: Survey of available capacity in Energy Auditing Dear Mr.lMs. Saving of energy and increasing of energy efficiency in buildings and industries have become a priority in Indonesia. Thus energy auditing in buildings and industries are expected to be more common practice in the near future. Energy audits in Indonesia are mainly performed by energy and/or engineering consultants who are having formal educational background of Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering. Many consultants are having their knowledge and skills of energy auditing enriched through direct previous experience as engineer in industry or building. In the ongoing project "Energy Efficiency in Industrial, Commercial and Public Sector, Danida Environmental Support Programme 2, Component 2" initiative has been taken to make an intensive survey to develop a database system of pra~~cing energy auditors. In order to collect information and data for the surv~y we hereby send you our Questionnaire, which we kindly ask you to fill out. The results of this survey will be used as background information to develop certification scheme and training based on the Energy Auditor National Competence Standard and will give positive impacts not only to your company but also to you as individual professional who deal with energy efficiency. In this regards, please fill out this Questionnaire carefully and correctly. If your address is inside Jakarta, we are offering a pick up arrangement by our Courier at your office, please contact us should you would like to have this service. If you return the Questionnaire before 8. February 2010, you will participate in a competition ofsmall gifts for 10 selected individual respondents. Perihal: Survei tentang kemampuan dan kapasitas melakukan Audit Energi Dengan hormat, Saat ini program penghematan energi dan kegiatan-kegiatan peningkatan efisiensi telah menjadi prioritas utama di sektor bangunan dan industri di Indonesia. Maka dari itu pelaksanaan audit energi di sektor bangunan dan industri tidak lama lagi akan menjadi aktivitas yang sangat dibutuhkan di sektorsektor terse but. Audit energi di Indonesia saat ini kebanyakan dilakukan oleh konsultan energi atau konsultan engineering yang personilnya berlatar belakang pendidikan teknik mesin, teknik elektro dan teknik kimia. Konsultan-konsultan tersebut memiliki pengetahuan dan ketrampilan di bidang audit energi kebanyakan hastl dari pengalaman langsung sebagai tenaga teknis di sektor bangunan atau industri. Dengan adanya proyek "Energy Efficiency in tndustite; Commercial and Public Sector, Danida Environmental Support Programme 2, Component ~" yang saat ini sedang berjalan, perlu melakukan survei secara intensif untuk mengetahui keberadaan dan kapabilitas personil sebagai auditor energi maupun perusahaan di bidang efisiensi energi serta pengembangan databasenya. Kami memohon agar Bapakllbu/Sdr dapat mengisi Kuesioner terlampir untuk mendapatkan informasi dan data. Hasil survei ini akan digunakan sebagai dasar pengembangan sistem akreditasi dan pelatihan untuk Standar Kompetensi Nasional Auditor Energi dan nantinya memberikan nitai lebih kepada responden sebagai perusahaan pelaku efisiensi energi maupun Bapakllbu/Sdr. sebagai individu profesional di bidang efisiensi energi, untuk itu mohon Kuesioner ini diisi secara teliti dan dengan data yang sebenar-benarnya. Bapakllbu/Sdr dapat mengisi Kuesioner langsung dalam file Ms Word atau file tersebut diprint kemudian diisi dengan tinta hitam kemudian dikembalikan kepada kami. Mohon agar Kuesioner yang telah terisi tersebut dapat dikembalikan kepada kami sebelum tanggal 8 Februari 2010. Kuesioner dapat dikirim kembali kepada kami melalui email (dalam file Ms Word atau hasil scan) atau dikirim melalui pos. Bila Bapakllbu/Sdr berada di Jakarta, kami dapat mengatur penjemputan kuesioner yang telah diisi secara individu maupun kolektif. Bagi responden individu yang mengirim sebelum tanggal 8 Februari 2010 (cap pos atau tanda terima) akan kami sediakan 10 hadiah menarik melalui undian. Sebagai rasa terimakasih kami, rangkuman hasil survei tersebut akan kami kirimkan kepada seluruh responden yang mengembalikan kuesioner. Kami rnenqucapkan te~imakasih atas bantuan dan kerjasamanya.
