    com Dickinson Public School District Human Resources: I am currently seeking a 5th grade teaching position at Lincoln Elementary School in Dickinson Public School District. In December of 2011 earned my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from Nevada State College. Not only am I qualified for this position, but I am eager and ready to fulfill all necessary requirements. My experiences working with a 2nd grade class during my student teaching, at Twitchell Elementary School, were invaluable. Being able to build a mutual respect and rapport with my students and colleagues was a great foundation for my success as a teacher. Trying new teaching strategies and adapting the way I teach the content for all learners is very important to me, because it shows me what works for each individual child. During my 100 hours of observations in various schools and grade-levels throughout the Clark County School District, I have been able to study many different teaching styles and management systems. Goals and objectives always need to be clearly expressed to all students, in order to set the stage for learning. All of this has helped me to establish my own teaching strategies, and how I manage my classroom. Becoming a teacher has been an ambition of mine since I was in elementary school, and I want my students to leave my classroom knowing that they have the potential to be whatever they want when they grow up. In hiring me, you would gain someone who is very determined, responsible, and compassionate about teaching. Currently, Im living and working in Las Vegas as a substitute teacher, but I am expecting to move to Dickinson within the next month. I would greatly appreciate an opportunity to speak with you directly about my qualifications.
