Admiring Character

In the novel Catch Us If You Can, Rory is one of the most interesting and intriguing characters that come across in my life. He is a young boy but displays great courage and determination when he embarks on an adventure to stop the authorities separating him from his grandfather. Rory is also remarkably responsible and mature for his age. He takes good care of his grandfather, making sure that he takes his medication and his meals. He even has to forego activities that he loves because his time is taken up by caring for his grandfather. At a time when most children have adults taking care of them, Rory has to take care of the only adult in his home. Another quality which is admirable in Rory is his ability to forgive and move forward. Although he is angry to his father for leaving him and his mother while he was a mere child, he forgave him accepted his new family with open arms. For all of these reasons, Rory is a character that I look up to in Catch Us If You Can.
