The American Process

All nonimmigrant visa applicants must bring the following

to the interview: * A passport with available visa pages that is valid for at least six months beyond the intended date of travel. * A receipt for a non-refundable application fee in Moroccan Dirhams equivalent to $160 U.S. Dollars. * i20 * A full frontal view photograph against a white background taken in the last six months, measuring 5 cm x 5 cm. * Proof of your ties to Morocco, such as work documents, recent bank statements, business registration papers, and property ownership documents, family ties.

Student visa applicants must demonstrate three things at the time of the interview: (1) that they are bona fide student; (2) that they have the means to pay for their education in the United States; and (3) that they have strong ties to their country of origin and intend to depart the United States after their education in the United States is completed. If student applicants cannot convince the interviewing officer of these three facts, the officer is required by U.S. law to refuse the visa.
