During my education at Devry University, most of my programming courses were in object oriented programming ASP.net C#. I learned that the three main principles in object ordinated programming are Encapsulation, Polymorphism, and Inheritance and that the C# language uses classes, methods, and objects to define each of the principles in object ordinated programming. I was required to code a C# application each week for my lab assignments. The labs were all different Windows form applications. Each C# course built upon the previous course until the final senior project course. Each weeks lab assignment focused on the different fundamentals of the C# language. I gained experience in data types, methods that return a value, making decisions using loop statements, C# key words, classes, objects, and using namespaces. s to train\provide tools for the Internet Operations team and Cable One Associates * Participate in a variety of meetings and status calls including projects, troubleshooting & testing. * Work closely with Vendors to resolve issues, evaluate code for deployment, and implement new features. * Contribute design considerations for new products or architectural changes to existing products. * Provide after-hours support for code deployments, changes and general support. * Address issues escalated via our ticketing system while identifying trends, systemic problems and ways to improve the service that the Internet and Networking Applications provide. * Mentor Jr. staff providing guidance based on observations and requests as necessary in conjunction with formal group training sessions * Other duties as assigned. A successful candidate for the Internet Software Engineer position will have the following skills. * Proven ability to troubleshoot multiple types of application interfaces (SOAP, Database level, etc.). * Broad experience in development technologies. * Broad experience in network and OS technologies. * 5+ years .NET experience combining development, testing and troubleshooting. * 4+ years combined design and support/administration experience in .NET Application Servers.
