Performance Reliability Innovation Design Exploratory

Robot PRIDE Competition is a competition to explore innovative ideas and design within the scope of robotics and sensors. The competition focus on fundamental and application using engineering and computer technology towards potential exploration as commercial products. PRIDE is a platform where inventor meets the investor. PRIDE is stand for: P (Performance), R (Reliability), I (Innovation), D (Design), E (Exploratory). The competition is divided into 3 Categories: (1) School (2) College/University (3) Company/Individual

Term and condition

The product or system must be original and not a commercial product. The product or system that have been patented or have been presented in other competition is also eligible to participate in the competition. The judging criteria's are based on P (Performance), R (Reliability), I (Innovation), D (Design), E (Exploratory). The organizer will not cover any logistic and travel costs to bring the team and product or system to the event.

Venue
Robot PRIDE Competition is organize in conjunction with IRIS2012 at Hilton Hotel Kuching, Sarawak, on 4-6 September 2012.

Prizes
Winner of each category will receive trophy, cash prize and certificate. All participating team will receive certificate of appreciation.

Entry registration fees per team*: RM200/USD70 (School), RM300/USD100 (College/University), RM500/USD170 (Company/Individual). *Team members must register as participant in IRIS2012. Contact:
