[serranoj@mail.law.cuny.edu] Sent: Wednesday, April 26, 2006 12:38 AM To: Calendar Subject: CALENDAR: Re: FORUM: Coke @ CUNY To CUNY Law Community: John Howard touched on this briefly on Forum, but I'd like to take the opportunity as President of SG and Dean's Designee Chair of the Law School Association to clarify who is doing what and when. I'm posting this on calendar because it contains dates and times of meetings. I urge any response to the community to be taken back to forum. On Wednesday in Room 250 at the SG Meeting (1:30 - 2:30), SG will consider a resolution to ban Coke. If passed, the resolution itself does not ban Coke. I attached the resolution so you can see for yourself what it does. The question of whether or not Coke should be banned will be addressed by the Law School Association at a meeting on Thursday at 12:15 in room 260. The question will be addressed by LSA because one of its purposes is to operate and/or fund the cafeteria. (CUNY Law School Association Bylaws Article 1, Section 2.b.) More details regarding LSA can be located on pages 91-93 of the Student Handbook. Both meetings are open to all and all are welcomed to attend.
