Conditional Sentences are also known as If Clauses. There are three types of Conditional Sentences.

It is possible to happen (present/future). Form: if + S + V1, S + Will + V1 Example: If I find her address, Ill send her an invitation.

It is untrue in the present. Form: if + S + V2, S + Would + V1 Example: If I found her address, I would send her an invitation. Fact : I dont find her address so I dont invite her

It is untrue in the past. Form: if + S + had V3, S + Would have + V3 Example: If I had found her address, I would have sent her an invitation. Fact : I didnt find her address so I didnt send her an invitation
