My Goal: To become a civil engineer

I am a refugee from Burma. I would like my fellow refugees to have a more convenient life. I want them to have low-cost housing. I want them to move from one place to another more speedily and more comfortably. I want them to use good roads and strong bridges. In order to make these possible, I would like to become a civil engineer. In order to become an engineer, I would need to attend a civil engineering course in a technical college, such as Georgia Piedmont Technical College, or the civil engineering division of a university. I want to obtain a masters degree eventually. When I get my engineering degree, and when I become an engineer, I will try my best to construct low-cost housing to accommodate refugees, who have low income because of their lack of education and their difficulty in spoken communication. I would also like to construct community centers for refugees, where they can be taught English and their own languages. I want them not to forget their country, their language, and their culture. They can celebrate their own national days in those centers. I believe that I can do great things for my people by becoming a civil engineer. ==
