Keep the shooting key pressed to activate the equipment. After a sound warning is heard the display will show REAL TIME _,_ _ s COMPENS. +/- _,_ _ S.
After shooting, the display will show the actual exposure time as the Timer features an intelligent system that compensates the x-ray application time according to variations in the mains voltage. For this reason, the actual time described on the display after shooting must be regarded as the exposure time.
Installation
This equipment must be unpacked and installed by an authorized Dabi Atlante technician; otherwise, warranty will be voided.
After use, turn off the equipment master switch. Releasing the shooting key before the selected time has elapsed interrupts x-ray emission immediately and the message REAL TIME _,_ _ s SHOOT INTERRUP. will show on the display, indicating the actual shooting time. Teeth 16/17/18, 26/27/28, 36/37/38, 46/47/48 cannot be selected in the child option. The time selected by the operator for periapical radiographs must be similar for both arches.
Eletronic
Position the locating cylinder according to the radiographic taking type desired. Turn on the master switch. In case the equipment has a voltage regulator (optional item), turn the voltage selector to adjust voltage. Turn it until the central green LED in the timer case goes on. While a red LED remains on, the equipment will be disabled. Select the exposure time, which ranges from 0.2 to 2.5 seconds. It can be extended or reduced by 0.1 second with each touch on keys + (to extend) and - (to reduce) - see item Radiographic Techniques in this manual. Stay away at a safe distance (see item: Recommendations, care and warnings). Keep the shooting key pressed to activate the equipment. The yellow LED will go on and sound warning will be heard, indicating that the equipment will be emitting radiation during the selected time. Releasing the shooting key before the selected time has elapsed will interrupt x-ray emission immediately. Wait a few seconds before shooting again. This is the cooling time required which is indicated by the blinking signal on the display. During such time, the keys will be inactive. After use, turn off the equipment master switch. To obtain the load application time, 0.196 must be added (ampoule pre-warming time) to any value on the display.
Operation
Seletronic Position the locating cylinder according to the radiographic taking type desired. Turn on the master switch. The message DABI ATLANTE VERSION 1.1 will show on the display, which will be followed by the message SELECT RADIOGRAPH. Select the radiograph type using the anterior Interproximal, posterior Interproximal, Occlusal-Lower Jaw, Occlusal-Upper Jaw and Periapical keys. Note that the periapical function is selected by using the control keys which reproduce the dental arch. Press the adult/child key to select the adult or child option. Select the film type to be used. Stay away at a safe distance (see item: Recommendations, care and warnings). 18
Cleaning
Clean the equipment surface with a clean soft cloth moistened in Aplic Odonto by Dabi Atlante or another product with similar chemical properties.
The use of other chemical products is not recommended as it may damage the equipment.

During exposure, the operator must keep a minimum distance of 2m from the patients head or stand behind a physical barrier. Install the equipment in an appropriate site which is protected from sunlight and humidity. Unplug the equipment or turn off the clinics general switch when it is not used for long periods of time. Check the equipments voltage before plugging it in. This equipment is meant for dental use only and must be operated by qualified personnel according to instructions in this Manual. In case the recommendations and precautions concerning this equipment are not observed, side effects may affect its operators and patients due to the presence of ionizing radiation. Do not use the equipment without a locating cylinder. Keep the largest practicable distance between the end of the locating cylinder and the patients surface so that the absorbed radiation can be the least possible.

It is recommended that the field intensity established by the RF transmitter, as determined by an electromagnetic inspection on the sitea, should be lower than the compliance level in each frequency rangeb. Interference may occur around equipment marked by the following symbol:
Note 1: UT is the AC supply voltage prior to the application of the assay level. Note 2: In 80 MHz 800 MHz, the highest frequency range is applied. Note 3: These directives may not be applicable in all situations. Electromagnetic propagation is affected by the adsorption and reflection of structures, objects and people.

The field intensities established by fixed transmitters such as base radio stations, telephone (cellular/cordless), terrestrial mobile radios, amateur radio, AM and FM radio transmission and TV transmission cannot be accurately predicted. In order to evaluate the electromagnetic environment due to fixed RF transmitters, it is recommended to consider an electromagnetic inspection of the site. If the field intensity measurement on the site where the Dental X-Ray Spectro 70X models Seletronic and Eletronic is used exceeds the RF compliance level applicable above, it is recommended to check the Dental X-Ray Spectro 70X models Seletronic and Eletronic in order to observe if operation is normal. In case abnormal performance is observed, additional procedures may be necessary, such as reorientation or replacement of the Dental X-Ray Spectro 70X models Seletronic and Eletronic. It is recommended that field intensity should be smaller than 3V/m over the frequency range of 150 kHz to MHz.
Recommended separation distance between portable and mobile RF communication equipment and the Dental X-Ray Spectro 70X models Seletronic and Eletronic
The X-Ray Spectro 70X models Seletronic and Eletronic has been designed for use in electromagnetic environments where radiated RF disturbances are controlled. The client or user of the X-Ray Spectro 70X models Seletronic and Eletronic can help prevent electromagnetic interference by keeping a minimum distance between portable and mobile RF communication equipment (transmitters) and the X-Ray Spectro 70X models Seletronic and Eletronic as recommended below, according to the maximum output power of the communication equipment. Transmitter maximum nominal output power (W)
0,001 0,1 1 10 100
Separation distance according to transmitters frequency (m) 150 kHz to 80 MHz d=1,2 P
0,12 0,38 1,2 3,8 12
For transmitters whose maximum nominal output power is not listed above, the recommended separation distance d in meters (m) can be determined by using the equation applicable for the transmitter frequency, where P is the transmitters maximum nominal output power in watts (W), according to information provided by the transmitters manufacturer. Note 1: In 80 MHz 800 MHz, the highest frequency range is applied. Note 2: These directives may not be applicable in all situations. Electromagnetic propagation is affected by the adsorption and reflection of structures, objects and people 27
