Dayak Community
The Dayak People (Orang Dayak) are
group of indigenous people living in Kalimantan or known as the Borneo.

Population of Dayak is approximately 4

million inhabitants.

Dayak people lives in

longhouses (Huma Betang). Usually, it is


located in the river banks.

Dayaks Property

Hukum Adat Dayak


Unification of Hukum Adat Dayak in 1894 in Tumbang Anoi. The unification contains 96 articles and covers some aspect of life such as: - Singer Tungkun (fines of robing another man's wife) - Singer Sahiring (fines of murdering) - Singer Pikir Tipu Anak Oloh (fines of exploitating child)

Regulating Body
Adat tribunal as an institution to oversee the law

enforcement. Conducted by the members of people. To handle all kind of cases under Dayaks territory and settle adat delicten.
