Co-teaching summer library program. Designed and implemented program with other librarians; theme of the summer is Reading is ARTrageous. Run program, which includes lesson, storytime, computers and crafts. Average attendance is 60-90 students, ranging in age from 4-14.
Managed the operations of the library, including circulation and maintenance of the collection, scheduling use of computer lab and carts, story times and instruction taking place in the library. Provided technical support to staff and am responsible for maintaining the technology in the building. Attended grade level curriculum meetings and contribute to lesson design, planning and instruction. Organized district-wide Battle of the Books with the other district librarians. Applied for and was awarded the L.B.S.S grant for Ideal School; Ideal was awarded a complete set of Monarch titles of Readers Choice Award nominees.
