ADVANCED ELECTRONICS LAB Sub: Electronic Circuits

Experiments: 1. To measure the efficiency and ripple factor of half wave rectifier with and without Capacitor filter at full load. 2. To measure efficiency and ripple factor of full wave rectifier (centre-tapped and bridge) with and without Capacitor filter at full load. 3. To plot gain v/s frequency curve for common emitter transistor amplifier. 4. To plot gain v/s frequency curve for emitter follower circuit. 5. To construct a d-c load line for voltage divider bias circuit and observe the effect of variation of the operating point on the output voltage. 6. To study two stage CE transistor amplifier by measuring the voltage gain of first stage without second stage. 7. To measure the maximum input signal for undistorted output for single ended power amplifier with load. 8. To measure the maximum input signal for undistorted output for the push pull amplifier with load. 9. To measure the frequency of oscillation for Weinbridge oscillator & Hartley oscillator. 10. To plot the load regulation and line regulation curves for zener regulator and transistorised series regulator. 11. To study the performances of a tuned amplifier by measuring its Quality factor and plot the output characteristics. 12. To measure Vdc at different loads for half-wave and full-wave voltage doubler circuit.

Sub: Analog Integrated Circuits


Experiments: 1. To construct a typical transistorised differential amplifier and plot transfer characteristics. 2. To use Op-Amp (IC741) as inverting and non-inverting amplifier and as voltage follower and measure gain. 3. To use Op-Amp (IC741) as adder and subtractor and prepare addition and subtraction table. 4. To use Op-Amp (741) as a differentiator and integrator and find out suitable time constant. 5. To use Op-Amp (741) as filters (low pass, high pass, band pass) and plot frequency response. 6. To use Op-Amp (IC741) as differential comparator.

7. To use Op-Amp (IC741) as a Wein-Bridge oscillator and measure frequency of oscillation. 8. To use Op-Amp (IC741) as a phase shift oscillator and measure frequency of oscillation. 9. To use timer (IC555) as square wave and saw tooth wave generator and observe wave forms 10. To use timer (IC555) as mono-stable and astable multi-vibrator and measure timing behaviour. 11. To study regulator IC723 and design adjustable voltage regulator. 12. To study PLL IC565 and use it as a frequency multiplier.

TELECOMMUNICATION LAB Sub: Analog Communication Systems


Experiments: 1 To study the operation of the AM circuit using IC XR 2206 and observe the modulated waveform and calculate modulation index. 2. To study and observe the process of AM demodulation using envelopes detector and calculate efficiency of the detector. 3. To study the operation of balanced modulator and observe the DSB-SC waveform. 4 To study the operation of balanced demodulator and observe the waveform. 5. To study the operation of SSB-SC modulator and observe the waveform 6. To study the operation of SSB demodulator and observe the waveform. 7.
