When diluted with water (fresh or salt) will clean or disperse crude produced by the burning oil of fossil fuels. Green Unikleen limits vaporization, thus reducing the risk of fire. There are many dispersing agents that may accomplish the same result. However, these formulations may contain materials such as flammable solvents, chemicals and kerosene, which produce toxic or noxious vapors. Furthermore, with some treatments, contaminants sink to the bottom, causing additional damage to microorganisms and marine life.

2 This does not happen with Green Unikleen. General Characteristics Green Unikleen is a balanced blend of selected surfactants. It is a light green liquid with no odor Solubility in water is complete in all proportions. Exposure to skin causes no damage. Extended exposure may cause some drying. Product contact with the eye may result in minor irritation, similar to shampoo. This irritation disappears after rinsing with water. Oral toxicity is extremely low, with minor to no side effects. Marine life, wildlife, Microorganisms and resident bacteria can consume the organic ingredients with no ill effect. APPLICATIONS Oil Spills When treating an oil spill with Green Unikleen, it can limit your liability and prevent additional detrimental effects to the environment. Applying Green Unikleen to an empty petroleum storage tank on land or aboard ship will aid in prevention of explosion and fire. When using the solution for cleaning bilge's and engine rooms, the risks of explosion and fires are greatly reduced. Extinguishing Petroleum-Based Fires The Green Unikleen solution is extremely effective. Solvent based cleaning solutions or products normally used aboard the ships, contains flammable substances that contribute to the fume building and increase fire potential. Green Unikleen contains no flammable product and retards explosion and fire by attacking the bonding agents and compounds thus reducing vapors and gases produced by petroleum derivatives. Contaminated Underground Water Supplies This can be accomplished by injection of a solution of Green Unikleen into the contaminated waters and assist in the standard suction retrieval methods by allowing the undulating action of the changing water level in the system to aid in the cleanup process. One of the biggest problems in this type of cleanup is the residual absorbed in the porous material of the canopy and trapped in the pockets of the irregular surface. With the use of Green Unikleen, as it passes with the water to these pockets it removes the petroleum captured there and acts in a wicking action and draws out the contaminating product absorbed in the porous canopy. Contaminated Waterways, Vegetation, and Wildlife Avert the contamination of our beaches, wetlands, waterways and oceans, limiting the effects on the marine life, wildlife, vegetation and our food chain. Green Unikleen dispersed more than 97% of each of the 16 crude oils and 6 refined products tested. We believe that general, mechanical recovery ability at sea remains limited in effectiveness and is expensive. Several were encouraged by growing emphasis on dispersant use for responses at sea. Improved dispersant effectiveness, and greatly reduced toxicity, has made dispersant use the most effective means of protecting sensitive resources for many large oil spills at sea. Dispersant use is widely accepted in many areas around the world, especially in Europe. Encouragingly, its acceptance is now improving in US; here dispersants have recently been used on several spills in Gulf of Mexico. Using Green Unikleen as a strategy involves the use of chemicals to speed up the process of natural dispersion. The product when added to oil spill breaks up into small droplets forming thin emulsion which, disperses in the water column. In effect, they speed up the natural processes of dispersion. In dispersed form the oil is subject to degradation by micro-organism, which occur naturally in the sea. As a general rule, Green Unikleen, can be effective in dispersing most liquid oils and liquid water-in-oil emulsions with viscosities less than about 2000 centistokes.

Mix ratios range from 12 to 128 parts water to 1 part Green Unikleen, based on the concentration of dirt and grime to be removed. Methods of applications are: spraying system with low to moderate volume, moderate to high pressure delivering metered concentrate or pre-mixed solution with warm or hot water. Steam would be used. Vehicles and Machinery - trucks, cars, buses, trains, airplanes, manufacturing equipment, machinery, construction equipment motors, engines and parts baths

Stability, long-term storage and stockpiling. Green Unikleen may be stored in closed containers for three (3) years or more with no breakdown or other change in its properties. Evaporation from open containers changes the physical properties, but should not reduce performance. TOXICITY TEST. All tests were performed in accordance with regulations and requirements of the USA, Canada, and State of California. Results of Artemia Salia Nauplii testing for LD/50 were considered unmeasurable and insignificant. Biodegradation tests in seawater indicated a half-life of 35 days. This is considered very satisfactory for a product of this nature. 12ml. of concentrate and diluted product (1 to 30) were administered to ducks using stomach tubes. No adverse effects were observed. PERFORMANCE TESTS Green Unikleen is capable of dispersing #6 oil in a better than satisfactory manner, passing the sinking test. No dispersed material was found to sink to the bottom after treatment with Green Unikleen. Product degradation, determined by the IR Spectroscopy Test using quantitative analysis, started with the following: 1400 mg/1 concentration of dispersant at a ratio of 1 part Green Unikleen to 30 parts water At 20 days the aged sample measured 1,000 mg/1. At this rate, degradation is complete in approximately 90 days.

6 A fire extinguishing demonstration was conducted using benzene, diesel fuel and crude oil. In all cases, the fire was allowed to heat up to over 2,000 degrees before being extinguished in less than two (2) minutes using a water 1:10 mix ratio. Requires no special equipment and can be dispersed through any premixed or metered spraying system.
