~Freshman Retreat~
• Grounds Crew 10th grade
o 5, 3 hour meetings to prepare for Freshman retreat (15 hours of preparation)
o Worked as standby, taking attendance and tending to the group leaders needs
o In addition, we set up rooms for mass and talks, passed out dinner, cleaning up
o Overnight retreat over 3 days (60 hours)
o Total hours: 75 hours
• Group Leader 11th grade
o A series of Sunday preparation totaling (40 hours)
o Includes a 2 day training retreat at the beginning of school (38 hours of training)
o Led seven freshman during whole retreat movies, games, talks, discussion with
parents, adoration, mass, visitation to nursing homes
o Overnight retreat over 3 days (65 hours)
o Total hours: 143 hours
• Grounds Crew group leader 12th grade
o Preparation when scheduled, not always Sunday (20 hours)
o Prepare music, talks (mine was “faith” talk), games, ice breakers, adoration to
lead half of the grounds crew at a time in retreat
o Overnight retreat over 3 days (60 hours)

~Key Club~
• Co-founded school chapter during 10th grade

• Bi-monthly meetings- turn in hours, tell club new volunteer opportunities

o Weekly meetings (usually Friday) with moderators, faculty and donators to plan
and design the booth

~Fort Bend Literacy Council~


• Senior Service Summer project: taught math to adults who want their GEDs in the
Literacy Council of Fort Bend
• Training to be tutor (9 hours of tutorials)
• Create lessons, worksheets, homework, give and grade tests
• Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays: roughly 5pm-8pm
o Often times I had to come early to make copies and tutor individually or stay late
due to tests or questions.

• Paint walls, apply cock, hammer shingles, transport tools, unload refreshments
