OUR AGENDA
Dear Esteemed Members
We are a team of sincere, dedicated and result oriented professionals who have undertaken the responsibility of
giving good governance to NEA Forum and with the sole objective as "WELFARE OF EXECUTIVES". We shall
always be vigilant and prepared to take up the problems faced by our members and shall spare no effort to
solve the same after discussing the relevant matter with the local committeesfCouncil members.

Our team shall strive to achieve the following issues for welfare of our executives along with
sustained growth of MECON:

GLOBAL

Revival of NEA Forum and restoration of DENOCRAT!C CHARACTER OF NEA FORUN with regular committee
meetings, council meetings 8GB as per NEA Constitution. Amendment in Constitution for delegation of powers.
A Well Defined and Transparent Transfer Policy for PT and TT with special consideration to members whose
wards are studying in Class !X to X!!, medical grounds etc.
TT order with unconditional release date mentioned therein.
Headquarter (HQ) status to be maintained in case of PT
No transfers without taking the members into confidence
3 months prior notice to members in case of PT 8 1 month in case of TT
A consistent, documented and transparent Promotion Policy for all grades to remove disparity in promotions,
which is a major source of demoralization among the executives.

Review of PNS for PRP and Promotion
Expedite !mplementation of Pension Scheme and Post Retirement Nedical Benefit Scheme. Creation of Pension
Fund till scheme is finalized w.e.f. 0101.2007
!mplementation of Death Benefit Scheme
Pursue with management for revision in DA and other tour expenses in line with SA!L
Recruitment of dedicated team of engineersfdiploma holders for erection and commissioning jobs at site.
Erection team shall be retained on contract basis.
Upgradation of Guest House facilities at all offices for comfortable stay in addition to improved transportation
facility. (Every room should be equipped with AC, LCD Tv and Single bed with attached toilet.)
Delegation of various powers to Section !fc, Site !fc, Project Coordinators etc.
Empowerment of GN for sanction of Air Travel
AC Taxi facilities for all executives traveling on Tour.
Reimbursement of school fees to be pursued with management in continuation to last CCN

2009 NTT batch !ncrements to be pursued with management in continuation to last CCN

NTT Recruitment based on GATE ScorefAll !ndia Exam. in line with other PSU's
Nobile phone up to E1 grade with STD facility. Fixed monthly ceiling shall be adopted grade wise.
Upgraded PCfLaptops and E-mail !D to all executives.

Pursue with SEF!fNinistry for up gradation of E1fE2 scale

Pursue with SEF!fNinistry for payment of Perks Arrears from 26.11.2008
Long term Nanagement vision and a complete road map to meet future business challenges by diversifying
effectively in other areas apart from our core competence area of Steel.

Setting road map and guidelines for upgradation 8 dissemination of technical knowledge in each discipline at
each level 8 down to junior level

Leave encashmentfsalary for all executives other than normal retirement.
Rest room for Ladies

Review of promotions
SITE J REGIONAL OFFICES
TransferfAllocation of Jobs from HO so that all offices are fully loaded with expertise fully utilized. No
regional office shall be used as only man power supply office to sites.
Proper representation of Regional 8 Site offices in areas of Promotions, Foreign ToursfTraining etc.
Provision of better facilities for NECON Personnel posted at Sites
!mprovement in Nedical facilities for NECON Personnel posted at Sites which includes empanelment of
more reputed hospitals.
Canteen facilities fSubsidized Lunch packets 8 Snacks for all regional officesfsites.
Nagarnar site: Posting on TT for 1 year with release date in all cases ie. no pick and choose. Provision
of Transit house facility at Koraput 8 Raipur, AC Car facility from Koraput 8 Raipur, vizag to Jagadalpur
(Nagarnar Site) to site, Proper Guest House facility at site, Proper Office with seating arrangement and
Office !nfrastructure for all executives, Empanelment of a Retainer Doctor, !nsurance coverage
considering nature of site (Naxal infestedfdisturbed areas).
Deployment of executives from sites to H.O. f Engineering Offices for Engineering Work after site
deputation for a specific duration.
Provision of company cars with AC facility for touring as well as executives deputed at sites.
PT to TT for left out cases in Burnpur site and redeployment to their respective H.Q. after completion of 2
years from the date of posting
Enhancement of E.!.C.S
Strengthening of all offices in Netro cities
Regular visit to Regional and site offices to understand the problems and hardships faced by our members
and their families.
RANCHI
!mmediate implementation of House Allotment software developed by !T section
Up gradation of Canteen facilitiesfNew Canteen
Comprehensive scheme for air conditioning of office phase wise starting from the top floor to be
completed within definite time
Air conditioning of Community Hall
Up gradation of Sports facilities viz. Tennis Court, !ndoor Badminton Court etc.
!mprovement in Township !nfra structure viz. Road, Water, Security, improved facilities for NTT
accommodation.
Ispat Hospital Issues
Appointment of Regular Doctors for Eye, Orthopedic and one additional Doctor for Gynae.
Regularization of Doctors who are working on contract basis for more than 2 years
Appointment of Regular Nurses, Ward Attendants etc.
Provision of additional Cabins
Provision of proper children ward with latest facilities
Computerization of data and patient history
Criteria for promotions in hospital in various grades
