Objectives i.

Understanding electrolysis

Learning Outcome: By the end of this lesson, students should be able to: i. ii. iii. State what the anode, cathode, anion, cation electrode and electrolyte. Describe the electrolysis of an electrolyte using carbon electrodes Explain the uses of electrolysis in industry.

1. Relate the electroplating concept with the domestic products. Example: spoon.
