Introduction
This survey was conducted to find out the importance of time management to teacher trainees in IPG Kampus Perempuan Melayu Melaka and their time management skills. This report covers the objectives of the survey, background of respondents, data analysis, findings, the necessary recommendations and finally the conclusions drawn.
The main objective was to determine time management skills of teacher trainees. The specific objectives were:

To find out the importance of time management and why it is important to teacher trainees. To find out the time management skills of teacher trainees. To get some opinions from teacher trainees on how to manage their time wisely.
Background of Respondents
Since the aim was to determine the importance of time management to teacher trainees, so teacher trainees from PPISMP Mathematics, PPISMP Pendidikan Islam, PPISMP Pendidikan Seni Visual and PPISMP Bahasa Inggeris were targeted.
Five teacher trainees from each unit were picked randomly to be involved as respondents of this survey.
Data Analysis
The questionnaire consist open-ended and closed-ended questionnaire. The data collected from the survey questionnaire was entered and analyzed using Microsoft Word. After that, we used Microsoft Excel to analyze and present our data using bar chart, pie chart, histogram and pictograph. It was chosen because it is the most used package for analyzing survey data. It has the following advantages: it is user friendly and can easily be used to analyze data.

The pie chart shows how important is time management to teacher trainees from all PPISMP units in IPG Kampus Perempuan Melayu Melaka. 90% of the teacher trainees feel that the time management is very important to them whereas only 10% of them feel that time management is somewhat important to them.

The cylinder chart shows why time management is important to the teacher trainees. 50% from all the PPISMP units think that time management is important because it helps to set up their priorities. Secondly, 20% stated that the main reason why time management is important is because it helps to reduce wasted time. Then, 15% of them think that time management enables them to do the right thing at the right time while 10% think that time is limited. Lastly, 5% of teacher trainees feel that time management helps to make conscious choices.

The horizontal bar chart shows how serious do the teacher trainees consider their time management problems at college. About 30% of the teacher trainees consider their time management problems at college as very serious. Half of the teacher trainees consider their time management problems as serious. 20% of them consider that their time management problems are relatively minor.

From the pictograph above, it shows how often the teacher trainees practice time management tips in their daily life. Firstly, 14 out of 20 teacher trainees sometimes plan out what needs to be done each week. Next, five teacher trainees always plan out what needs to be done each week while only one of them never do it. Secondly, the numbers of teacher trainees always use a to-do list to write things down and always think before acting are 10 students respectively meanwhile the number of teacher trainees who sometimes use to-do list to write things down and sometimes think before acting are also 10 students respectively.
Moreover, 11 and 8 out of 20 teacher trainees always and sometimes prioritize their to-do list respectively while only one of them never prioritize their to-do list. Then, 12 of the teacher trainees always spend time doing something more valuable whereas 8 of them sometimes spend time doing something more valuable. Besides, only one of them starts a journal and writes down their progress for each goal. Furthermore, 13 of them sometimes start a journal and write down their progress for each goal and 6 of them never do it. Lastly, 7 out of 20 always carry a small notebook with them while 12 of them sometimes carry a small notebook with them and only one of them never carry a small notebook along.
In order to manage time wisely, it is recommended that, teacher trainees should do a timetable and follow it. Besides that, they can write down priority list and place it on the table so that they can easily read and remember their prioritize. Next, the teacher trainees should do the important work first and stop doing something that waste their time. Last but not least, teacher trainees also can plan their weekly activities first.
Conclusions
From the above findings, it can be concluded that teacher trainees in IPG Kampus Perempuan Melayu Melaka feel that the time management is very important to them. Then, almost half of them have serious time management problems at college. Lastly, almost more than half of them seldom practice time management tips in their daily life.
