Shopping Centre

The
The impressive modern design of The Shopping Centre creates an appeal-
ing atmosphere, and together with its myriad of opportunities for shopping,
dining and entertainment opens a new perspective to what todays shopping
centres can offer their customers. With total investments reaching nearly
100 million euros, The Shopping Centre is architecturally one of the most
dynamic shopping developments in the Baltics as well as being the newest
and largest regional shopping centre project in Tallinn.
Introduction
The s|te |s |ocated adjacent to the c|ty`s |argest and bus|est traffc junct|on w|th
more than 5,000 cars passing through the intersection per hour during rush
hour and yet being just a few minutes by car from the city centre. The major
state motorways approach it from 3 sides, facilitating fast and convenient visits
for customers.
There are 110 000 inhabitants and close to 130 000 working places within 10
minute car drive away from The Shopping Centre as its primary catchment area.
The Shopping Centre will become part of the major public transportation hub in
Tallinn. The hub is the most important infrastructural development for the city in
the coming years and it shall feature, in addition to local connections, a transfer
to the airport and the Rail Baltica international train station.
Location
A lot of emphasis has been put into developing clear and effective trans-
port plans for The Shopping Centre in order to make it easily accessible
for whichever mode of transport our customers choose. There are several
separate free fow traffc ||nes for access|ng The Shopp|ng Oentre by car and
there are integrated public transport stops on the north and west sides of
the building. The future main transport hub is located at the south side of the
building and shall be integrated with The Shopping Centre complex.
Easy access
The Shopping Centre accommodates more than 200 shops and 3 spacious
ma|n courts topped w|th g|ass domes tower|ng through a|| 4 foors of the
centre. The total leasable area of the centre is over 55,000 square metres.
The height of the galleries is around 7 metres. This, together with 5.4 metre-
high store facades, provides an excellent opportunity for creating custom
store solutions.
Overview
There are 1,600 parking spaces available a car park with 450 spaces,
600 spaces available in the underground car park plus 550 spaces in the
s|x-storey car park. The car park a|so has d|rect access to a|| foors of
The Shopping Centre. There is also a separate parking area for tourist
buses, plenty of bicycle stands and a designated parking area with elec-
tric car charging stations.
Parking
The ground foor features a 6,000 square metre hypermarket and c|ose to
2,000 square metres for cafes and fast food restaurants, plus plenty of space
for banking services, electronic goods stores and various service points.

The frst foor hosts most|y fash|on stores, cosmet|cs and accessor|es stores as
well as cosy cafs. Also, there is a bookstore that expands through two levels.

The second foor has over 4,000 square metres for shoe stores and 14,000
square metres for sport, lifestyle and children stores as well as fashion
boutiques. There is also direct access to the restaurant and leisure area
situated on the entertainment level.

The entertainment level accommodates 1,500 square metres of restaurants, a
seven-screen multiplex cinema and an astounding 9,000 square metre leisure
area that is unique in the Baltics and Northern Europe. This level provides enter-
tainment ranging from party rooms for children, an indoor adventure park and
trampoline centre to pool tables, racing games, bowling and much more.
Entertainment
The Shopping Centre is committed to continual improvement of the reduc-
tion of energy consumption and optimized usage of natural resources. The
development represents a new generation of shopping centers where the
environmental sustainability has the highest priority: in these new buildings
the emphasis is on the natural lighting, low energy systems and on the ar-
chitectural integration.
