HISTORY & INTRODUCTION OF RSWO RANRA Welfare Institute (RWO), established on April 2010, provides free education to orphans, disable and students belonging to poor families. RWO was conceived as an inspiration in the hearts of group of visionary youth who saw in their community a need for extending a helping hand in the field of education to less fortunate and less advantaged people. It is an independent, non profitable, non-political and nongovernmental organization that does not discriminate in its provision of services on the basis of race, color, religious affiliation and language. No funds are used for any lobbying or other political activity. It is engaged in providing education to people with little or no resources. It has a population consists of 25000 souls. 83% of the population is below poverty line. LEGAL STATUS RSWO has been incorporated in 2012 under the Social Welfare Registration Act 1961, and is governed by an executive committee (Board of Organization) OUR VISION A free world where no one feels any threat or fear. Positive and constructive thinking development and prosperity. Greenery is all-around and peace every where. To achieve the goals and results after working in the community regarding health to provide basic education and health facilities As well as to facilitate the illiterate society by fulfilling the educational needs and basic requirements. To work and uplift the socio economic conditions of the society by providing technical & financial facilities. To provide equal opportunities for both the genders of community regarding their basic requirements and well initiate such programs that may provide the peacefull environment. The organization will work in close coordination with government, semi government, non government, social welfear department and other international organization to encounter all the health hazards of poor and deprived people of society. To work with such local institute that can provide technical and financial support for the encourgment of health and education of the target.

GOAL/TARGETS The organization will request individuals, donor agencies , social welfare society, government and welfare organizations for support in health and education problems of the community.

AREAS OF INTEREST:

1. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY WING: COMPUTER ACADEMY:

RANRAN Welfare organization established a computer academy for orphans, disables and poor deserving students where they are provided free education. It is the first computer academy established in the village Arhat Baba Sherkera. Many of the students of the area cannot afford high fee, rent and travel expenses to get computer skills. Prior to the academy established by RANRA Welfare organization there was only one computer academy which was at a desistance of 30 kilometer from the locality. The RSWO started its working on 04-01-2011. According to the action plan RANRA Welfare organization targeted 200 students to be educated in one session but the student flow was more than the expectations and the administration was compelled to increase the target to 300. The main reason behind the target of 300 was that RANRA computer academy offered all the courses, on latest Computer (P4) and free of cost. FREE ADMISSION RSWO offers admission to orphans, disables and poor deserving students in all the available courses. The initiative was taken in order to facilitate and educate the ignored class of the society.

TALENT AWARD Talent Award is a students supporting aspect of the organization. Talent awards are given only to those students who show extra ordinary performance in their respective course/s. The administration has defined points which a student has to get throughout the time he spent in the academy, any one getting the highest points is given the award which is in the shape of set of computer (Pentium 4). COURSES OFFERED The RSWO offers a variety of courses starting from the basics of the computer to the highest languages, in order to facilitate every kind of students who want to do the course for a better job or any other purpose. For all the courses offered, no fee is charged. The courses offered are as follows: 1. Windows XP, Windows 2007 and Internet for the beginners 2. Hardware (practical+ theory) 3. Microsoft Office 4. Networking 5. MCSE 6. Corel Draw 7. E-commerce 8. Access Data Base Programming 9. AutoCAD and many other short courses.

2.ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROGRAM.

According to the action plan of RANRA Welfare Organization, from the very beginning English Language Program was started, in order to enable the targeted students to excel in English language, which is necessary for their excellence in the academics and practical life. The English language program was planned for two months duration. The RANRA English Program offers admission in the available courses free of cost, especially, to orphans, disables and poor deserving students. The program is successful and the flow of students is more than the targeted number. The Administration was compelled to close admissions because of lack of resources. COURSES OFFERED RSWO hired highly experienced and energetic teaching staff. RSWO did not concentrate on the excellence of students in English language only but has also arranged special classes for the students in order to explore their hidden talent and abilities. RSWO offers the following English language courses in the academy: 1. Beginners Level 1 to 4 2. Advanced Level 1 to 3 6

3. Special Conversation Class 4. Special Grammar Class 5. Total Physical Response (TPR) OPERATIONAL AREAS RANRA Welfare Institute is situated in the Village Arhat Baba Sherkera, District Peshawar, Khyber Pukhtnkhwa, Pakistan, which is a neglected area. Literacy rate in the locality is very low. The locality was badly affected due to terrorists activities and later on when security forces launched search operation against the terrorists. The organization was established after a meeting held in the main office of the RSWO in the Village Arhat Baba Sherkera. The village is located 45 kilometers to the south of Peshawar city which adjoins FR Peshawar, FR Kohat and District. Literacy rate in the locality hardly touches four percent of the whole population. Poverty has deviated attention of the people from education. Therefore, establishing an organization which can help the people to change their social status was badly felt. ORGNAIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

ACHIVEMENTS 8 370 students have completed computer courses (MS Office & Hardware, etc.). 524 students have completed English language courses.

35 orphans have been admitted in private schools and are being supported.
