Water usage
As we all know, water is one of the most vital natural resources for all life on Earth. The availability and quality of water always have been playing an important role in determining not only where people can live, but also their quality of life. However, many fresh water has not always available when and where it needed, nor is it always suitable of quality for uses. So, ask ourselves a question: Are we using water in the most necessary condition? According to the Wikipedia, 97% of water on the earth is salt water. And only 3% is fresh while over two thirds of this is frozen in glaciers and polar ice caps. The remaining unfrozen freshwater is found mainly as groundwater, with only a small fraction present above ground or in the air. Therefore, there are a very little water, which is only 0.007% of water, that we can use for life. Because water can do a lot of thing for us, we need to use water everyday. For example, taking a shower, washing dishes, brushing teeth, All our activite always need water. We can go without food for a long time but cannot go without water just for one day. Nobody can live without water. Everyone knows that but they rarely think carefully about it before they use water while the amount of fresh water is declining as the society is developing. We are using too much water and sometimes for no reason. According to the statics, in average, an American uses about 5.75 liter of water everyday, and 60% of it are used for marginal activity such as washing car, watering plants, And a European moderately use 250 liter of water each day while 1.1 million people in the lack of water only use 19 litter of water each day. Moreover, the amount of water that we use in industrial production is a lot more numerous. Facts have shown that, to have 1 kg of beef, 16,000 litter of water must be used, or a paper needs 10 litter of water, and to have a cup of tea needs to be used 35 litter of water. What a enormous number! Just imagine a day without water, what will we be? Can we still live and breathe? The reason why we human can survive on Earth, not other planets

because there is water. But, with the number of water is reducing quickly and quickly, and the environment is getting worse everyday, which means there are not a lot of fresh water for us to use, the day of destruction is coming nearer and nearer. However, there is no denying that we can prevent this by our own ability. The government must have policies that help people reduce the amount of water they use everyday. School should propagate students how important water is and family members such as parents should teach their children to save water when they are little. But more importantly, individuals must have responsibility to know that water is considered as a finite resource that has limits and boundaries to its availability and suitability for use. In conclusion, even though my writing do not include a lot of information about water usage, but hopefully, it can help people think more about our important natural resources, which is being destroyed by our own hands. All I want to say is: Think carefully before using water.
