INTELLIGENT CAR

INTRODUCTION
Theft news is the front page news now-a-days in almost every news paper. Not just homes or shops but even our precious car is not safe. This crime is increasing day-by-day. Every year the police release statistics relating to stolen automobiles. Protect your car from being stolen is crucial because even though your insurance will pay for a new car, your premium will sky rocket as a result. You can do a lot to protect your car by using an antitheft device but all goes in vain. But now its enough, the time has come to put a restriction on such false activity. If someone now steals the car, we can stop the car even if we are too much far from our car. 6V Solar panel (artificial) is also using for the charging of battery that further supplies the DC power to the circuit and motor.

Automatic dipper Many drivers do not dip the head lamps of their cars at night when another vehicle is approaching. Sometimes even if they want to do so, they have to perform several switching operations which distract their concentration. These problems can be solved by using this system known as AUTOMATIC DIPPER. The operation of this automatic dipper is simple. It consists of an LDR mounted on a PVC pipe of a 4cm long.
So, now we have three reasons for why this car is intelligent: 1) Pollution-free

2) Theft-proof 3) Automatic dipper Working of theft proof section If you are not familiar with the RF pulses sent out by a cell phone, then just go over an FM radio and switch the mobile on and off while holding it close to the radio aerial. These RF pulses are an annoyance to amateur radio enthusiasts because they always seems to be picked up by sensitive input stages and you sometimes hear them on outside broadcast television programmes where people close to the presenter are using a mobile phone. Detecting these pulses are not difficult, all you need is small aerial, a diode detector and amplifier. Apart from mobile phones this unit can also pick-up the signals sent out by modern digital cordless phones. These operate around the same frequency as cell phones. As with cell phones you will not be able to eavesdrop on conversations because the speech is digitally encoded but you will be able to hear the telltale RF pulses. The circuit for the intelligent car is not difficult. Students having knowledge about functioning of IC can understand the circuit very easily. As per circuit diagram, coil and antenna forms a resonant circuit. Diode D1 detects RF pulses & signal is amplified by IC1. The power on LED D3 also provides a reference voltage for the virtual earth inputs for IC1, as the output signals from the IC1 LM358 is not strong enough to be directly interfaced to the external circuitry so these signals need to be amplified again so these output signals are fed to another amplifier IC2 LM386, which is working here as a power amplifier. The gain of the amplification is controlled by the variable resistor VR1. This signals is coupled to the opto coupler IC3 4n35. When these signals triggers the input of IC3 4n35, the internally integrated IR LED blinks and generates negative volt at its output pin5 with the help of photo transistor which is also internally integrated. This negative volt triggers the input pin2 of IC4 NE555, which is working here as a bistable-timer and generates positive volt at its pin3 which further drives the NPN transistor T1 BC547 and relay energizes which cuts the positive supply of the battery and hence car stops. When relay energizes the supply to the motor gets cut off and supplied is then transferred to alarming section composed of UM3561, an alarm tone generator cob, common emitter amplifier and loud speaker. UM3561 IC is using to generate Police siren tones, common emitter

amplifier is using to amplifying these tones and loud speaker convert theses tones into alarming tones. Working of Auto dipper section When any car is approaching nearer to you its head-light fallen on the photo resistor and so resistance of LDR decreases and negative volt triggers the input pin 2 of NE555 which leads to the positive volt at pin 3 of NE555 IC which is fed to the base of transistor which further energizes the relay and LED at lower part lit. Now if car is not approaching to you, the resistance of LDR increases then this time positive volt triggers the NE555 IC hence IC will not works and finally relay do not energizes and LED at upper part lit.
