OUT OF STEP! When he was in college, Robert Short told his mother he had become an atheist. His mother was very upset with him. She cried and worried for weeks. A little while later, Robert came home for a visit and told his mother that he was now a believing Christian and that he had decided to go into the ministry. His mother became upset all over again. She thought he had become a fanatic. Do you get the picture? So many want to be counted somewhat religious, somewhat Christian, but not too Christian. Truly dedicated people are often seen to be odd, out of step with the world, just too good to operate in this world of deals and compromises and shady practices. Because they dont always go along, they dont always get along. May more of us be out of step! (copied Charles Ferrell) *Roger*

Going back-to-school is an exciting and challenging time for kids. They can make new friends, adjust to new teachers, and get back to a more structured lifestyle. It can also be a time of testing for their faith. Next Sunday we will begin an exciting new series on wearing the full Armor of God. Are you Army Strong?
