Innovation strategies, capabilities, activities are central to the development of organisations and societies. It is widely accepted that India needs to unleash its innovation potential in all sectors of the economy for enhancing efficiency, effectiveness and to address significant challenges facing the society. The current scenario in our country calls for innovation strategies cocreated by Government organisations, educational institutions, business enterprises and not for profit organisations to facilitate the creation of an innovation eco-system that can promote , diffuse and scale innovations for inclusive and sustainable growth.
The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) and the Forum for Emotional Intelligence Learning (FEIL) are committed to continuously advance the understanding of state-of-the-art thinking and practice of innovation. Both TISS and FEIL take a broader perspective of innovation that includes entrepreneurs, for and not- for profit organisations, and social innovations as focal areas for inquiry and action. The Global Innovation Forum at TISS is conceived as a platform for facilitating dialogue among different constituents, disseminating information, developing new partnerships and evolving ideas for concrete actions. The forum aims to bring together CEOs, leading researchers, business practitioners, entrepreneurs, consultants and grass root innovators to share, develop, and spread new ideas and practices in the area of innovation to create a better world.

Key Note addresses and Round Table sessions:


Renowned experts, practitioners, thought leaders and researchers in the area of Innovation will address the audience on both the days on successful practices, organisational environments and tools that foster innovation and and on scaling innovations. The CEO/ Director round tables will bring together renowned business leaders to deliberate on various mechanisms for creating an innovation eco system in our context. They will reflect on the complex enviromental challenges and contribute to policy development at various levels.

Ideas and Views: Paper Presentations


To advance the knowledge frontiers of innovation in a global context, the Forum serves as a distinguished platform for academicians, professionals from corporations and social enterprises, entrepreneurs, policy and independent experts to present their work in the area of innovation. The presentations can take the form of empirical or conceptual papers, case studies, or demonstrations of innovative technologies and practices. The submitted papers will be peer reviewed and the best papers will be published also in the form of seminar proceedings and books. Best paper awards will be presented to three outstanding papers presented at the Global Innovation Forum. The following themes provide an indicative set of ideas around which the conference will be organized and authors shall consider them while developing their manuscripts.

Dan is a soughtafter international keynote speaker and workshop facilitator on innovation practices and organizational strategies.
