Mary Magdalene Relationship with Jesus What that has to deal with the miracle I need?

What I was told and thought of Mary Magdalene... I come from a Catholic background...and I always thought Mary Magdalene was a poor woman whom made her living as a prostitute. For people like her survival back then was possible by selling her body. Anyway... But one day she found mercy when she met Jesus, who forgave her sins and from that point she followed Jesus as a grateful gesture...the only man in the society that didnt rejected her but treated her right. When I came to Christ and experienced what been born again means, Mary Magdalene was still preached in the church as a sinner, whom met Jesus and then her many sins were forgiven. Many people think she is the same woman that was found committing adultery and was taken to Jesus by the pharisees to be punished. They are not the same women. 1) I left church for about two years and back in the world they tried to teach me that Jesus is not so holy as the Christians preach because Mary Magdalene was Jesus lover and Jesus had an affair with her. That famous writer Dan Brown created a huge public dilemma with this idea. So, who was Mary Magdalene? And what she has to deal with the miracles I need in my life today? What we can really learn from her story? 1) Love first sight between Jesus and Mary The Bible does not specify this how was the first meeting between Jesus and Mary but a Spanish writer (lived between 1829 1897) Henrique Perez who searched a lot about Mary described this meeting as Jesus face Caught Marys eyes when Jesus looked at her she was set free straightaway by the 7 Demons that oppressed Mary Luke 8.21-3 So, Mary was not poor but rich, she was not only sinner (like we all are) but oppressed, possessed and very ill and looking from this point of view that doesnt make her a prostitute. From the moment she met Jesus she was healed, set free and sins (whatever they were) forgiven. That love at first sight is the same type of love that Jesus wants us to experience with him. Most of us come to Jesus because of what his love caused within us. We fell in love with Jesus; we were set free, our illness was healed (world blindness, spiritual illness, etc). We cannot look back now, we cannot let him go and when we do, like I did...something was missing. 2) Intimacy

Mary was so in love with Jesus (it is not the carnal love we are talking about here) worldly people that never tried the true Jesus love, read the Bible according to their manhood knowledge and think it can explain what type of love was going on between Jesus and Mary. That is why there are so many people messed up out there, lost and want to be as far as they can from religion because no one can help them find God but just men rules. She was so in love with Jesus that she left her village Magdala/Bethany to follow Jesus wherever He was going. She became from that point a faithful follower. She was prepared to face the long journey, the crowd and the endless queues to be able to be face-to-face with Jesus. On her first opportunity, as a gesture of gratefulness, giving Jesus everything she had, her most expensive perfume well known as alabaster box. She humbled herself in front of all the men in Simons house, she kneeled down, washed Jesus feet (dirty, full of dust, sweaty, smelly, He was walking from village to village, in a country famous for being unbelievably hot). She washes Jesus feet with her tears, dry with her hair and anointed with her most expensive alabaster. The gospels says her alabaster cost around 300 denary = about 300. Can you image how much money 300 was back then? Impossible to a prostitute have such thing, dont you think? Luke 7:36 - 50 While you are having intimacy with God, people around you dont understand you; While you are having intimacy with God, people around you make gossips about you; Maybe thats why the word sees Christians as weirdos

They betray you, they judge you, they mistreat you, they make accusations and make you before the society eyes a sinner, not trustworthy, with bad name and with no dignity because that is what the Devil want the church, your family, friends, work colleagues and the society to see you...as a nobody. That is how I used to see Mary Magdalene, that is how many people see her. BUT JESUS in return will defend you. Like he defended Mary before Simon and before all the people were there (they were many) He will fight your corner, He will back you up. BUT why all this is related with the miracle I need? The answer starts here...

3) Jealousy Luke 10:38-41 Intimacy with Jesus makes the devil jealous and he will try everything he can to take you out from Gods presence. Whatever is the evil challenges that come

against you...nothing can stop Jesus to visit you and make his presence noticeable. Nothing will stop Jesus to visit you or be with you and when he does, Miracles takes place!!! 4) He share your pain and hear your prayer John 11:1-2; 28 32 33 34 This passage illustrates Jesus intimate relationship with us. Between Martha and Mary, Jesus asked for Mary. You become a priority and you can touch and move Jesus heart when you share with him your needs and the miracle you need. When there is something to be done and a miracle to take place Jesus wants you present. It is not you that hunt Jesus for miracles but is Jesus that goes after you and call you by name to hand over to you the miracle you need. 5) Jesus finds consolation in our arms of pray and praise Again Jesus goes to Marys house and there he is consoled by the bad hours he was about to face. Only He new what was coming. Again she offers Jesus the best relationship she can give, and man again judges her for her actions based on jealousy. John 12:1-7 Back then the bad hours to come was Jesus death and he find consolation in Mary. Today the bad hours happens every minute. When the Father and the Son look down, around the world and see so much disgrace, violence, pain, diseases, destruction and everything the Devil has done with his plans to us...They cry, they suffer and where they find consolation? They find in our praises and our prayers, in our intimacy with Him. The Bible confirms that when says the Father has not destroyed this world yet because of his children. WE HAVE TAKEN JESUS LOVE FOR GRANTED!!! Why we dont see miracles??? Because we give him wish washy praises...wish washy prayer time...I am too busy Jesus right now, just give me the miracle I need and thats is great...cheers God! We are lazy and selfish, we dont want to compromise nothing...we let the flash of world friends, job commitments, personal lives, life style take over...and we dare to get angry when we do not see miracles...With that selfish love of ourselves we will never see miracles and we will get very little or nothing from God!!! Lets us change all that brothers and sisters. Lets us offer Jesus the relationship and the love of Mary Magdalene from now on. Let us offer him the best love, the best care, high standard of service, high standard of praise. Lets see what needs doing in his house. He is OUR GROOM!!! Lets change our mind set and today will be the first day of many miracles you are going to see in your church, your community and in your life...

After so many things Mary went through with Jesus, including all the hours of agony in the Cross. She stood by HIM until the end, even after dead she was still at His service (preparing his burial) That means that we have to be stood by His side in times when people dont want anything to do with Jesus. Watching so many souls heading to hell and there is nothing we can do about or we are not doing nothing about it? That is what means she standing by HIS side (His bride, His church) going through that challenge, and that is what the church should be concentrated in... The best part was yet to come reserved only for Mary Magdalene She was the first to see the angels that came to give reception to Jesus on his resurrection and she was the first to see Jesus face-to-face resurrected!!! John 20 Are you ready to see Jesus face-to-face today??? Are you ready to receive now the first miracle out of many in your life today? For this you need to offer Him Mary Magdalene relationship...love...and kindness...that is the secret revealed so miracles in your life can take place.
