Guide lines for Filling the Assessment formats (Semester Pattern)

1. Proforma A-1 (S) Students Progressive Assessment sheet for TW. With lab-manual/ practical Journal Progressive Assessment (PA) of Term work performed during Semester. (i) 2/3 question related to cognitive domain to be asked (ii) To assess the psychomotor skills, the teachers are advised to observe the hands on skills performance of every individual student & asking 2/3 questions related to performance (psychomotor) skills (iii) To assess the affective domain, the teacher will obsreve the overall behaviour of individual student Continuous Assessment of TW/Practical for the subject to be filled and maintained by the faculty in the form of Assessment sheet/ Register. This proforma is to be used for both i.e. Term-work (TW) and/ or Skill Tests (ST) as the case may be. (i) Final Internal Assessment for Term-work (TW) in which the marks of (PA) from Proforma A-1 to be entered in column No.4 and converted to marks out of maximum as per examination Scheme and enter it in column 5. (ii) For entering the skill tests (ST) marks, one skill test is to be conducted during the semester and the practical performance related skills are to be assessed out of maximum marks 30 and entred in column 5 of A-2 to be used for skill test marks. (Skip column 4 in this case) Final assessment for Oral / Practical (External) examination in which the marks of one skill test out of 10 in column 4 and marks of practical out 20 by internal examiner in column 5. The external; examiner will give marks out of 70, in column 6 and marks obtained out of maximum as per exam Scheme in Column 8 by external examiner. Marks of one skill test (ST) from A2 out of 30 to be entered in column 4 by Internal Examiner. On line examination marks out of 50 directly from computer screen to be entered in Column 5 by External Examiner. Marks obtained out of maximum as per

examination scheme to be entered in column 7 by External Examiner. Final assessment of Oral/Practical (Internal), in which the marks distribution is as follows: 1) The marks from proforma A-1 (PA) which are the marks obtained out of total i.e. 10 x no. of experiments in column 4. 2) Skill test marks out of 30 in column 5. 3) Oral/ Practical marks obtained out of 50 in column 6. 4) The grand total of above three shall be entered in Column No. 7 and converted to matks obtained as per maximum marks in column No. 8. Teaching plan (Theory) Department Laboratory planning. Analysis theory test The analysis of two theory tests of each subject is to be done by subject teacher. The assessment of performance above 80, between 60-80 and belove 60 is to be done subject wise. The feedback of the same is to be given to all the students. He will also guide the students to improve upon their test performance.

Note: 1. The number of practical experiments/ assignments must be performed as prescribed in the curriculum. Moreover, in the academic interest of students, teacher may conduct additional experiments/ assignments, but these additional exercises should not be considered for final assessment. 2. If the subject contents Termwork & Oral heads independently, there will be no continous assessment for ORAL. 3. Fractional marks should be rounded to next integer (e.g. 21.07 to 22) 4. All the proformas A-1(F), A-2, A-3, and A-4 duly filled in by internal / external or by both are to be submitted in sealed separate envelope to the Principal of the institute and same to be retained for two consecutive examinations.
