In the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful O Muslim brothers, O Muslim sisters: Yes, yesterday

it was with us, we used to smell its fragrance, be happy in its gardens, and turn into its bounties. Yesterday, we used to dig out its goodness, dive into the seas of its rewards and return every night overwhelmed with its kindness. As of Today, where is the month of Ramadan? Wasnt it a few moments ago within our hands? Was it not filling our ears and eyes? Was it not the speech of our pulpits, the merchandise of our markets, and the life within our masjids? Then, where is it now? Where is the tranquillity of the worshipers standing in prayer? Where is the worry of those praying tahajud during its nights? Where is the softness of people fasting it? Where are the feet lining up for their Lord during its delightful nights, while others were persuaded by their whims for entertainment? Where are the eyes shedding hot tears when remembering the ugliness of their deeds? Where are the hearts flying with the wings of fear and hope, which raced to the satisfaction of their Lord seeking salvation? Everything vanished, finished and nothing is left except for the regret and the sorrow. I remember, respected brothers and sisters, few hours, which were purer than purity and sweeter than honey. Dont you feel the great sorrow for these days, when you raised your hands asking your Lord, with your head low in humility and your eyes full of tears? It was present, but it is now finished, its rugs are folded and it passed as if it were never there. Ramadan became a memory in the minds after it was witnessed by our senses. The month of fasting is over and people came out of Ramadan in two groups: A group advised each other and fulfilled the rights of their Lord. They fasted in faith, stood up praying, thus, they are washed out of their sins and are cleared out of their burdens. Another group wished that Allah will save them, but they followed their desire. They spend its day distracted and its night in fun. They did not respect the holiness of the month nor did they fear their Lord or his majesty. Until time became tight, they feared the hatred of their Lord and as regret will not help, they stood up trying to catch up, but found that everything is over. The day the wrong doer will bite on his hands! He will say: I wish I had taken a path with the messenger, woe to me! I wish I did not take such a person as a friend; he led me astray from the message of my Lord after it came to me and Satan is a traitor to mankind [ Al-Furqan 27-29] O Muslim brothers, O Muslim sisters: At the day of the Eid (the feast), some people are happy and others are in misery, so blessings are for those whose deeds are accepted and woe for those whose deeds are declined while the door of forgiveness is shot against them.

At the day of Eid, the accepted one is congratulated and sacked one is condoled. Congratulations for you if you are accepted, for the reward of Allah and his forgiveness, but woe to you if you are dismissed for going astray and for being disobedient to your Lord. By Allah, your calamity is huge and your test will be big, so tell me: where is your repentance? For which day are you delaying it? And for which time you are saving it? Do you think you have the decision in your hands? No, by Allah determining lives, or the remaining time is not up to you. Look, may Allah mercy you, how many persons prepared themselves for the Eid, but they were buried in graves and how many prepared clothes to beautify themselves but they were made as their coffins. How many people were about to break their fasting, but they ended up in their graves. Therefore, stick to the revelation for it is the salvation, because there is something persistent seeking you from behind, yet it is coming fast. O believing Muslim brothers, O believing Muslim sisters: worldly life is not a house of settlement nor it is for eternity, it is only a few days and you will be leaving, then you will be standing in front of your Lord and you will be accounted for every small or big deed. Then, what will you say if the records show your faults; at that moment the ears, the eyes and the skin will be testify against you. When the record is displayed, you will find the criminals fearful of what is in it and will say: woe to us why does this book leave neither a small nor a great deed but it has accounted for. They found what they have done present and Allah is never unjust to anyone. [ Al-Kahf, V.49]. At a day when the enemies of Allah will be driven to hellfire, allocated in groups. Until they come to it, their hearing, their eyesight and their skin will testify against them, with what they used to do. They will say to their skin: why do you testify against us? It will say Allah made us to speak as He made everything to speak and He created you the first time and to him you will return. [ Al-Fussilat, V.19] Their unawareness of the existence of their skin, hearing and eyesight will destroy them. As these senses never depart them, never miss any of their sins, thus they will testify against them and will disclose them. By Allah it will be such a disclosure, enough to make a person miserable during his life time, only if he would think about it. It is astonishing that there are those ones who fear the observation of humans who: sleep, forget and are of limited in knowledge, yet they are not afraid of the Ever Living, The SelfSubsisting, neither slumber overtakes Him nor sleep. They hide from people and never hide from Allah and He is with them when they prepare sayings over night, which do not please him, and Allah with what they do is encompassing [Al-Nisaa, V.108].

Glory be to Whose hearing encompassed all the sounds, His eyesight encompassed all beings and His knowledge encompassed the tiny and the huge. Verily your Lord is Allah, there is no god worthy of worship except for Him; He encompassed everything with his knowledge. [Taha: 98] Therefore, where are you going and where are you running away? The day when the human being will say where is the refuge? By no means, there is no refuge; at that day the place of settlement is with your Lord, Man shall be informed at that day with what he did early or late. [ Al-Qiyama, V.10-13] There is no escape from him except to him So escape to Allah as I am sent to you from him a clear warner [ Al-Zariyat V.50]. Prepare a provision to the Day of Return and do not get distracted with the house of delusion and misery, or else it will make you to forget what Allah has destined to its dwellers of death and finishing. Every soul will taste death and you will be paid your rewards in full at the day of resurrection. Whoever is pushed away from hellfire and made to enter paradise has won and worldly life is nothing but an enjoyment of delusion. [ Ale-Imraan, V.185 ] Therefore, dear beloved brothers and sisters, prepare the supplies for the Day of Judgment. Whoever wants winning and rescue should be doing well until his death comes. Know that Allah the exalted destined wining for the people of taqwa (righteousness), Allah(SWT) said: We will save the righteous, then We will leave the wrong doers therein (hellfire) falling on their knees. [ Mariam, V.72 ] Taqwa is the fear from Allah Almighty, applying the rules of the revelation (Quran), being satisfied with the little and preparing for death. My brothers and sisters, desist worldly life, then Allah will love you. Abstain from what people own, so people will love you and be in worldly life like a stranger or a traveller and consider yourself to be of the graveyard people. If you are in the morning do not wait for the evening, if you are in the evening do not wait for the morning, take from your health to your sickness and from your life to your death. O slaves of Allah, worldly life departed turning its back to us, the hereafter is coming facing us and each of them has its own children, so be of the children of the hereafter and do not be of the children of the worldly life. Today, deeds are allowed without accounting, but tomorrow accounting will take place and there will be no chance for deeds. Recognize that

for doing the impermissible in worldly life there will be a punishment and for doing its permissible there will be an accounting. Worldly life will never be for anyone a place of settlement because Allah destined it to be finished and He destined its people to be in trial. Therefore, you should be directing your deeds to the hereafter, so work for it and aim towards it. Never revive the perished and ruin the everlasting: O my people this worldly life is only a temporary enjoyment and the Hereafter is the everlasting dwelling [ Ghafer V.39 ] Never let what you have of the flourishing life and its enjoyments to make you unaware of what is behind it. Verily those who do not want to meet Us, are satisfied with worldly life and are content with it are unaware of Our signs. Those will have the hellfire as a dwelling for what they used to earn. [ Yunus, V.7-8 ] O Muslim brothers, O Muslim sisters: remember and get lessons from those who used to be recently with you of relatives, families, beloved ones, neighbours, friends and the close ones. Here, there and everywhere, how death made them to drink its grail and made them to dwell the graves, so they are not capable to add more rewards or to make use of the days and the years. This will happen to us as it happened to them and we will face what we did. To Allah we belong and to Him is our return. O Muslim brother, O Muslim sister, you should know that the days of your life are the best thing you own, so be careful and never waste them. Make use of them by doing good and getting closer to Allah with various types of worships before death and its stupor will surprise you, as well as the grave and its squeezing, the path (over hellfire) and its slip and before you wish to return to the past, but then it will be too late. Until death will come to one of them, he would say O my Lord return me, so as I may do well in what I left behind. No, it is only a word he is saying and there is a grave behind them until the day in which they will be resurrected. [ Al-Muminoon, V.99-100 ] It was narrated, that Yaqub (Jacob) (PBUH) said to the angle of death: I am asking you a favour, he said: what is it? Yaqub said: to let me know if my death is getting close and you are about to collect my soul, he said: yes, I will be sending you two or three messengers. When his life was about finished, the angle of death came to him, Yaqub said: are you a visitor or a collector? He said: A collector. Yaqub said: didnt you say you are to send me a couple or three messengers? The angle of death replied: I did, they are: 1- the whiteness of your hair after it was dark, 2- the weakness of your body after it was strong,

3- the curving of your body after it was straight. Yaqub, these are my messengers to the children of Adam before death. Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) said: No one will die except that he will regret, the companions said: what is the regret for, o messenger of Allah? He said: if he used to do good, he will regret that he did not do more and if he used to do bad, he will regret that he did not stop. Narrated by Al-termizy. To whoever took prayers lightly, or ignored it. To whoever prevented zakah, or neglected it, To whoever disobeyed his parents, or one of them, To whoever cut his womb relations or abused his neighbours, To whoever fought Allah and his messenger and dealt in usury, To whoever cheated when selling and buying, To whoever deserted Quran and spent his life listening to songs, To whoever was unjust and consumed the rights of the slaves of Allah, To whoever mocked the people of Islam and made fun of the righteous ones, To whoever impurified his mouth with a cigarette or a shisha, To whoever sat with people of evil and wickedness, To whoever testified with a false statement, To whoever lied in his speech while people believed him, To every Muslim woman who left her house unveiled, beautified and exposed, To whoever made his Lord angry and followed his whims,

Is it not time to check our accounts? Is it not time to catch what is left of our lives? Is it not time to be alert of our unawareness? Is it not time to wake up from our sleep? Is it not time to prepare provisions for the day of our departure? Allah (SWT) said: take provisions, verily the best of provisions is the taqwa (righteousness) and fear Me O people of Understanding [ Al-Baqara, V.197 ]

O Slaves of Allah: fear Allah and thank him for reaching the end of this gracious month and ask him the acceptance of the supplications, the fasting, the charity and the night prayers. I ask Allah to accept from you and me: the supplications, the night prayers and all the good deeds. Eid Mubarak I wish you and all the Muslim to be well Peace and mercy of Allah be unto you
