Attendance for last week was 89. Offering for last week was $2,760.60. Aug. 28, Tues.-Is the final Bible Study at Freedom Gate. Anyone interested in going along should meet at church at 6:30 p.m. Sep. 2, Sun.- Will be our regular, first-Sunday of the month fellowship meal, also you can sign-up to help serve on the small whiteboard on the refrigerator in the church kitchen. Sept. 8, Sat.- is the date for the Landis Homes Fellowship Day Chicken Barbeque & Auction. See the bulletin board for details. A sheet is on the table in the narthex to sign on if you are willing to donate 5 dozen cookies. Have them here at the church by noon on Fri. Sept 7. Any questions contact Mary Ellen Musser.

Sept. 8, Sat.-Mark your calendars to join in a trash pick up along 272 for church to do a community project more info will be coming. Sept. 9 Sun.- Red Run Mennonite Church Centennial Celebration- 9:30 a.m. Morning service and 5:30 p.m. Snacks and singing in the church grove. Questions call Carl Sensenig at 606-5787. Sept. 9, Sun.- 3-6 p.m.-There will be a Cocalico Area Community Worship Service at Stoudtburg Village, Adamstown. Plans include: several worship teams from various area churches leading worship in song, possibly a singing group from our church, local testimonies shared, activities for children, corporate prayer for our region as well as a ministry/prayer tent, free snacks and the opportunity to visit and bless the area shops in this unique village. Bring lawn chairs. Please consider praying for and participating in this unique opportunity to "walk with Jesus locally". Sept. 12, Wed.-The Bible Released Time program will be starting up for this school year at 11 a.m. We meet weekly with 3rd-5th graders from Adamstown Elementary School. Please see Sylvia or Darlene if you are interested in helping this year. Sept. 16, Sun.-A hymn sing will held in the 1855 Alleghany Mennonite Meetinghouse, at 2 p.m. Jake Musser of New Holland, PA will lead hymns from the Church and Sunday School Hymnal. Sept. 23, Sun.-In your church mailboxes this morning you will find an invitation to enjoy a Chinese meal at 12 noon here at church. This meal is being prepared and served as a fundraiser for the team that is planning to travel to China to share with Esther Snader's students during the Christmas season. Please note that you are asked to RSVP to Emily Gockley if you intend to participate. -Nursery Schedule Update: If you would like to be added or deleted from the current nursery schedule, please talk to Shelby.
