com ABOUT ----Master Converter is a powerful Windows utility designed to fill onespecific purpose: quic ly and easily convert units of measurement. The interface is extremely intuitive and user friendly, enabling even first-time users to convert from one unit to another without a hassle. Master Converter 2.0 is pre-configured to convert over 550 units in 29 categories. The categories include: length, area, volume, dry volume, time, speed, acceleration, mass, density, force, energy, power, pressure, flow, data storage, data transfer, dynamic viscosity, inematic viscosity, temperature, temperature interval, capacitance, charge, conductance, thermal conductivity, angle, angular velocity, light, numbers, and fractions. (See List of Pre-Defined Units for a complete listing of all supported units.) You'll most li ely find any unit you'll ever need already built in to Master Converter. If you find Master Converter is missing a unit you need, it's a snap to add your own custom units or your own custom categories! Master Converter will effortlessly grow to suit your needs. Master Converter is distributed as a shareware software product. This gives you the ability to try out the program before you pay for it, thus allowing you to see if it fits your specific needs. If you find the program useful, you are as ed to register the product. Registering Master Converter gets you a registration "code" that removes the opening wait screen on this and ALL FUTURE VERSIONS of Master Converter. Once you register, there is no need to register again! (Please see the online help file for the registration form and for pricing information.) Master Converter wor s with Windows 3.x, Windows 9x, and Windows NT. For Windows 9x and Windows NT users, there is a 32-bit version of Master Converter available. HOW TO INSTALL -------------To install, simply run the MC16.EXE (or MC32.EXE if you have the 32-bit version of Master Converter) program from within Windows. The setup program will install all necessary files to a directory of your choice, and then create icons for you. If you later decide that Master Converter does not fit your needs, you may uninstall the program by double-clic ing on the "Uninstall Master Converter" icon that was created when you installed Master Converter. (Windows 9x and NT 4.0 users will find the uninstall option in the Control Panel. Double-clic on the "Add/Remove

Programs" item to uninstall Master Converter.)

HOW TO USE ---------Double-clic on the Master Converter icon to start the program. Converting units in Master Converter couldn't be simpler. First, choose the CATEGORY of units that you're converting by clic ing on the appropriate index tab on the bottom of the screen. For example, length, area, or volume. PLEASE NOTE that not all of the categories may be visible on the screen simultaneously. Because of this, small scroll buttons will appear on the index tab, allowing you to scroll the index tab left or right. Next, choose the unit that you're converting FROM, and then the unit you're converting TO. For example, if you're converting from ilometers to miles, select " ilometer" in the left list box, and "mile" in the right list box. Lastly, type the value you're converting into the text box on the left. For example, type "3.5" if you are converting 3.5 ilometers to miles. The result will appear in the text box on the right. That's it! Master Converter shows that 3.5 ilometers is equal to 2.174799173 miles. For more complete instructions please see the online help.
