Our Father God is relational and relatableif only we will strive to
meet Him, seek after Him and Know Him through His Word but
also by His Holy Spirit. Jesus went to the Cross for many reasons
but one specific reason is that we could come to KNOW our
Creator God, the One whos likeness and image we are created in.
We must allow the Holy Spirit of God to teach us of Him and His
ways of doing and being in our everyday life. If you will but pay
attention to all that is around you on a daily basis, Oh, the
Wonders of God you will see revealed. Observe the sky and the
nature that is around you on a beautiful day or on a clear starry
night.
Observe Him in the people that you connect with on a daily
basisthe people you get to enjoy and be blessed by and be a
blessing to but also the people which cross your path in a not so
lovely waythere are lessons that can be learned about not only
your nature but the nature of God within you if you CHOOSE to
tap into Him rather than your unredeemed flesh. Allow the Holy
Spirit within you to reveal God in you through every choice you
make in a day and you will see an amazing transformation in your
life. Know and settle it in your heart that GOD is FOR you, not
against you! At the same time He will use people, circumstances
and situations in your life to draw out His character from deep
within you and you will be amazed at how you can overcome even
the worst of circumstances in the Knowledge that He is with you,
He is for you and He will bring you through ALL things and turn
them for your GOOD.

Four Major Reasons Why Jesus Died For Us

Take a close look at the four reasonsHe died for us: (1) because
He wanted to rescue us from evil; (2) because it was His Fathers
Will; (3) because He wanted to bring us to His Father; and (4)
because He loves us.
Psalm 115:3 tells us clearly why He chose to save us: Our God is
in heaven; He does whatever pleases Him:. Thank God for a
moment that He CHOSE to save us because it PLEASED Him to do
so. He could have left us in our fallen state after creating
Paradise for us but, He chose to place one thing in our Garden of
Eden that we were not allowed to have. Just one! I hope you
have been like me and asked yourself, What the heck was wrong
with those two that they couldnt just stay away from that ONE
THING!
We are clearly so easily tempted in life, we can have everything
handed to us but ONE thing and we will long to have that One
thing just because we know we cannot. We carry the curse of our
forefather and mother, Adam & Eve, we always seem to want
what we Dont Need, Cant Have and Know in our Hearts we
should stay FAR away from.
So, what is the answer to this problem we all haveIT IS THE
CROSS OF JESUS CHRIST!
Now we lead into how it pleased God that His Son should go to
the Cross on our behalf and what does that mean for us today.

What Is It To Be Crucified With Christ!

The Term crucified with Christ means to identify with Him in His
death in such a way as to allow Him to live THROUGH Us. When
we agree to walk the path of the cross we allow the Spirit of God
to LIVE and have His Being through us and manifest His Love to
others. We become Living Epistles and we gain victory in every
battle that comes our way.
Now that we know God Loves us and has a specific purpose in
mind for each of us let us look at a few Characteristics of The
Crucified Life in Jesus Christ:

Read John 16:5-18 This will lead us into our first characteristic:
Few Will Understand As you may have already surmised
from you walk with Him thus far that those you most have
to relate with are the ones who now least understand you.
Those who are blinded by ignorance cannot understand
such a change overtaking a true Christ like individual.
Take a look at Matthew 26:39..Jesus fell on His face to the ground
and prayed, My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken
from me. Yet not as I will, but as you Will. Living the crucified life
is a struggle. We have to wrestle with our sin nature daily to resist
reacting as we would like to and choosing to respond as Jesus
would have done.

We Must Abandon Our Own Will and Our Own AgendaEvery plan that God has for your life can and will be
thwarted if we continue to walk in our own will and ignore
the promptings of the Holy Spirit within us. In Hebrews
12:2-4 write what our instruction regarding laying our will
down:

We are instructed to Consider what Jesus endured on our behalf

and know that He had to make the same choices in His daily life
that we do. He chose not to sin..and now we, through His
obedience of the Cross, can do the same. We must not grow
weary in well doing for in due season We Will Reap the Rewards
of the crucified life in this life and throughout Eternity. (Rev.
22:12)
Intense Times of Aloneness With God Are Required: God
wants to meet with us One on One. In Times of your most
agonizing trials have you looked around and wondered,
Where the heck is everyone? In those times, it is God
who reserves the right to withhold others from us in order
that He may pull us aside with Him and we can then
experience what David did in 1Samuel 30:6, David found
strength in the Lord his God.

You Will Constantly Be On The Witness Stand! Hebrews
12:14 Make every effort to live in peace with everyone
and be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord!
You all know that when we profess to be Christians, then we have
taken up our Cross and are to be examples of what our Lord Jesus
Christ iswe are to walk as He walked, talk as he talked, Love as
He Loved, unconditionally toward others. I know how difficult this
walk is with that heavy tree strapped to your back, but I for one
refuse to spend my life now and in the one to come, not enjoying
the rewards of living out His Way of Being.

Simply put, I want to PLEASE my Father God as Jesus did, the

Firstborn of Many Sons. I want to become that Son of God and be
Holy as He is Holy. How do we accomplish such a daunting task
through intimacy with our Heavenly Father through His Son Jesus
and by the Glorious gift of our ever present companion Holy Spirit.

You Must Accept That Death Is Painful: Death Hurtsto

choose the Will of God over our own will is
excruciating!!!!! Our flesh loves and wants its own selfish
needs met. When we deny those desires then it can be
painful beyond imagination. In reading John 20:1-18 you

see your answer to dying to self.as Mary Magdelene did

when can boldly proclaim I have seen the Lord! What
greater thing can be said beloved. Oh taste and see that
the Lord is Good! This is the highest calling of humanity.
To Know Our Lord, To See Our Risen Lord and To Know
That His Goodness, Mercy and Grace are ours forever.

Because Jesus bore the full force of rejection by humanity and

separation from the Father and was forsaken, then we NO
LONGER ARE. We will never be separated from Our Heavenly
Father again. Praise be to God for His great mercy towards us.
