Romney will be running Surya - Budha - Guru from 28-Oct-2012 to 07-Dec-2012. At the time of elections, transit Surya will be neecha, while Budha will occupy Romney's 8th house. Significantly, PD lord Guru will be transiting over Lagna in 6/8 position with both Surya and Budha. Transit of Guru over Lagna leads to two possibilities--as 8th lord, will he cause disappointment? Or, will he give the significances of the 11th, namely gain? The position of Sani is important here--though he is with Surya, he is over 11 degrees away and therefore thankfully not combust. As the exalted lord of the 9th and the 10th, he is capable of bestowing the presidency upon Romney. It must be pointed out that a lot of ifs and buts exist here, which prevent one from saying with cent per cent conviction that Romney will winfor instance, if he was running the PD of Sani, chances of success could be pronounced with a higher degree of certaintybut as they say, you just have to be one step ahead to win the race. Though Libertarian Party nominee Gary Johnson and Green Party nominee Jill Stein are in the fray, this is primarily a fight between Obama and Romney.
