power-paC inCreases produCtiVity, saFety, and oVerall eFFeCtiVeness

With the highest steel-area-to-rope-diameter ratio of any rope in the forestry industry today, Power-Pacs significantly higher strength allows for rope diameter downsizing and an increased amount of rope on the drum. This high-density rope minimizes drum crushing, spools better and delivers exceptional rope performance. Greater resistance to stretch allows the rope to maintain its integrity and diameter throughout its service life. A smooth outer rope profile reduces rope wear, increases sheave and drum life and reduces line burning. Greater in-service rope stability reduces porcupining and leads to safer operator handling. Specially formulated lubrication reduces friction and enhances overall rope performance. Specialized design ensures rope damage appears on the outside of the rope first, improving visual inspection and operational security. High quality manufacturing techniques, certified to ISO-9001-94, ensure consistent rope quality and performance. Well-marked core tracers make it easy to identify Power-Pac high performance ropes. Full technical support allows WRI's customers to make the correct rope selection, obtain the relevant inspection and maintenance guidelines, and receive the necessary training.
