I have been a landscape architect and project manager for Barcelona Parks and Gardens Department since November 2005. In my capacity as designer for public green spaces, I have been involved in the design, improvement and management of numerous Mediterranean parks and gardens in the city of Barcelona. I also work as a private landscape consultant and designer, and I have participated in several competitions and commissions related to the creation of landscapes, gardens and publications. I have worked in multi-disciplinary teams as a design consultant in the development, management and execution of corporate, private and public spaces. I am currently managing the implementation of 16 small experimental low-cost public spaces for the City of Barcelona. I am also privately involved in the development of an ephemeral hydroponic garden installation for the City of Lausanne in Switzerland; as well as writing and editing a new technical standard for alternative drainage techniques in parks and gardens. I am also a guest lecturer at several academic institutions, such as the Universidad Autnoma de Barcelona UAB, Istituto Europeo di Design IED, Escola Sert-COAC and Centro de Formacin del Laberinto de Horta.
