Dear HTE Family members, I hope you are all having a good summer so far, enjoying the beautiful weather and having good times with your personal and HTE family. In July, we carried the energy and excitement from the June meetings to continue to host more meetings, and in Canada, we were busy planning and preparing for the ISO auditing. I would like to start with some good news to share with everyone! The office of HTE Canada went through and completed two major Audit Programs in July 2012 under the Health Canada and Intertek (ISO Procedure Auditor). This was a thorough and lengthy procedure lasting for almost 4 months March through July 2012. The very exciting and encouraging news is that the Audit Report concluded that HTE Canada has successfully fulfilled and satisfied all the necessary requirements of the ISO 13845 standards for both the importation and distribution of the Class I and II Medical Devices in Canada. During this audit period, we had the opportunity to discuss the Palm Massager, the Facial Mask, Energy Measurement Device (EMD) and Energy Wand with Health Canada. Following this request, an evaluation of these products was carried out and these items passed the requirements and were ultimately qualified safe for importation and distribution. Now we have 2 class I medical devices (SOQI bed and FIR Waist Support) and 9 class II devices ( Chi Machine, HotHouse, Advanced ERE, ERE pad, E-power, E-power belt, FIR pad, FIR Lumbar Cushion and Power Eyes). You rarely see any company carry so many powerful medical devices in the industry. As you may recall, I've been talking about Mrs. Cheng's story from Taiwan. One of her President level distributors, Mrs. Lin (We have an interview of her in this issue of the newsletter) follows Mrs. Cheng's successful monthly module to run her business, and added the Magic 3 concept as the monthly goal in her group. By doing so, since Jan. 2012 she helped more people in her group to promote to Presidents which led her to become our first Crown Level Distributor in Taiwan. And she started to receive over 1 million dollars (NTD) ($34,000+ USD) commission from June. Excited? Want to know how that works? Magic 3 is a business concept that we use to simplify the way

to handle the business to achieve amazing results. All you need to do is to recruit 3 people a month. Two of them purchase supplements (like Go Green, BetaLoe or Total Health Formula), and the other one purchases a Mix & Match combo and becomes your business partner. The next month, you and your partner repeat the same approach you did this month. By doing so, a newly signed up distributor will promote to Supervisor in the 3rd month, Manager in the 7th month and President in the 11th month with $44,100+ USD commission a month. Below is a chart we've calculated for your reference. 1-3-1 is the easy way to remember, in "1" month you recruit "3" distributors and help "1" of them to become your business partner. If you replace the supplement in this Magic 3 with other small items (Power Eyes, FIR pad, etc) or other devices, the result will be greater. And if you start the program from a higher level other than DIC level, your result would be much fascinating.

Starting at the end of June, we began a training series called NDO (New Distributor Orientation). We use this opportunity to introduce the company, the compensation plan, how to use marketing tools efficiently, and other key information about the business. We incorporated role play to teach product info, effective ways to host a home party, and new concepts like the Magic 3. The initial locations were in Wisconsin and Maryland and the feedback has been great and many people have committed to try this Magic 3 concept. Soon we are heading to Ohio, Indiana, Texas, Minnesota and other locations with this NDO training and it will be open to all distributors. The NDO has lots of information for new distributors regarding starting the business, and additional new info to refresh the memory and help the current distributors. training, the next level training would be the Level Advancement Training. This will give you more essential indepth information for you to advance to higher levels in a knowledgeable and expedited way. For example, the Power of the Right Attitude, the BEST Team concept, ABC rule, Goal Setting, Implemented Group Management Tool, Close sale...etc. We'll conclude this training series with the Leadership Training (previously named Train the Trainer) next year. This training will focus on Sales Force, Leadership, Motivation, Products and Group practice. My Journey with HTE


I was introduced to HTE by my naturopathic doctor. My family and I had been visiting her for years and when she showed and demonstrated the Chi Machine I was hooked. I had no background in health or medicine but I wanted something that could provide preventative care for my family, plus my husband used chiropractic care for his back in the past. So when I found out the Chi-Machine helps with spinal alignment I felt I should give it a try. After the benefits my family and I received, I felt I needed to spread the word about the equipment. I think I took a different path, I found out the benefits of the equipment first and then learned about the business aspect of the company. Slowly but surely my husband and I introduced various people to the machines and at the same time purchased and learned more about the machines ourselves. Knowing, learning and sharing your own equipment is very important and I believe one of my key to success. Being a stay home mom and wife I had the opportunity to introduce the equipment to my circle of friends and they in turn have shared with their circle. My husband Jeff did the same. Everyone seemed impressed by the results we received and wanted to give it a try for themselves. I find this has been one of the best ways to sell the machines, by sharing the positive results and giving testimonials to their benefits. Of course like all distributors we face obstacles, many people felt our machines were too good to be true or they felt our claims were exaggerated. When I get this reaction I give them the strength test with the Go-Green. This always gets positive feedback and makes them more respective to our re-education. My goal is to continue to share these machines with as many people as possible and eventually become a President within the company. I think my success can be attributed to my faith in God and prayer, my downline, and the great HTE machines that has and will continue to benefit so many people around the world. The first time I had the opportunity to see the devices of HTE was in summer 2007 during a visit to Bernard and Lynda in Ste-Adele, Quebec. Gilberte Boisvert introduced me to these devices. She was visiting them and there I tried the SOQI Bed, the Chi Machine and the Advanced ERE. Although I didnt have any discomfort at that time, I still enjoyed the energy transmitted by these devices. It was only in winter 2009, two years later, during a visit to Colette Demers in Quebec City where I attended a demonstration of the HTE equipment by Bernard Royer that I could enjoy the benefits of these devices again. At that time, I had a persistent pain in my right knee and I could not walk normally. I had the opportunity to try again the SOQI Bed by volunteering during the demonstration. After 7 to 8 minutes under the HotHouse, I felt like a click in my knee. When I got out of the SOQI Bed, I felt that the heat was good for my knee. To my surprise, I was walking differently and with greater ease. That session was convincing enough for me to decide to buy all HTE equipment for my own use at home. That's when I decided to become a "Distributor" in the days that followed my decision. My greatest desire was to introduce these highly efficient devices to my family, my friends and as many people as possible. The results were quite impressive for many people who used them regularly and I continue to see the benefits of these devices on many other people and myself. June 2002 is a memorable date. Ten years ago I was looking for something effective to relieve a chest condition that plagued me every winter, bronchial pneumonia. Ben and Katie Wollmann introduced me to the original Chi Machine, and the Far Infrared HotHouse. The combination was so effective. I was impressed to share the information with neighbours and friends. August 2006 the company HTE honoured me with a certificate and plaque when I reached distributor level known as President. At that level there was a fund established known as Business Fund. August 2009 my world collapsed due to the death of my husband. Until now, I was physically not able to do presentations, but I am grateful for these Medical Devices that have played an important role in my recovery. Thanks to HTE for retaining the Business Fund. A special thanks to Richard Chuang and Peter Poon for helping me withdraw from the Fund to use as a partial payment to replace my car. I can't wait to never need my glasses to find my glasses ever again!!


The past 20 yrs have been extremely stressful and depressing. In the past 5 or so yrs I have had the experience of having doctors refuse to help me. Add to that the 3 yrs in Alberta it took me to prove who I was to get health care, after having it for at least 15 yrs. The results of this and many, many horror stories there put me in a very bad way all around. Before I had started using the chi machine I suffered from BACK PAIN- for 20 yrs I could not lay on my back for more than 2 minutes without feeling excrutiating pain. The pain was in both the upper and lower back. It would irritate me if someone touched my back. I couldn't wear a bra, even cloths touching it would irritate me. It would put me in a bad mood. Doing dishes or walking too far made it unbearable. I would make a wrong move and put my back out easily. I couldn't lift much. At times it would feel like my back was so swelled it would explode. My tailbone was destroyed by childbirthtwice, and I fell down carpeted stairs 3 times, using my tailbone as landing gear. HIP PAIN- for 10 yrs I have not been able to lay on either side for much more than 10 minutes or so without feeling pain. At night I would be lucky to sleep for 2 full hours. I would wake and my hip was so painful it would take a long time to go back to sleep, and this was with both hips. Made for a very long night, not being able to lay on my back. Walking was painful, and if I went far, later I would be in so much pain it would be hard to stand up. This would make my back hurt more. KNEE, LEGS and FEET-my ankles have always been on the week side and I have twisted them many times. I have had 3 bad twists in the past dozen yrs. The last one left a scar the size of a looney on the outside of my ankle bone. For at least a dozen yrs, my feet have been very sore. If I'm not careful how I move them they will lock up?? The tops will feel like there is 2 plates grinding on top of eachother and I have to find a way to move the foot to relieve it. Its very painful. A constant feeling of a knife slicing the insole of both my feet. One spot, never changes place. Sometimes it's worse than others. I could always feel my feet swell. My knees build big sore lumps on the back of them. It comes and goes. The inside of my left leg joining my hip has a bump that comes and goes for the past 10 yrs, I think it's a hernia. When it comes bad, I cant stand straight. And for at least a dozen yrs I have not been able to stretch from my hips down without getting a major cramp in my feet and legs, and sometimes it felt like my back wanted to join. Cramps in my feet would wake me up almost nightly. I'd get cramps in the calves when I walked too much or too hard (up hill) DEPRESSION-I have been depressed for at least 20 yrs. The past 15 yrs I have cried a minimum of twice a day. In the past 5 or so yrs doctors have given me different pills that I could not tolerate more than a week. My gut would feel like there was a beach ball in it an someone was tring to blow it up. Not very long ago, I was so depressed I was crying constantly. I never went anywhere because I could break into tears so easily and my eyes were always swollen. I was so depressed I couldn't be bothered to do much of anything, includng housework. I would have to push myself to do anything. I didn't care much about anything, everything I fought so hard for was lost, and the people who caused it all are still running free. I couldnt think about it witout breaking into tears, and I couldn't get it out of my mind. I am deadly allergic to wasps. Before I escaped Alberta, I considered not using the epi-pen if I got stung again. CHI MACHINE- I basically started using it full time twice a day on June 13th 2012. I had used it off and on for a few minutes a day before that. By June 8th 2012 my back feels stronger and I thik less pain. Although my legs still hurt alot, the cramps in my feet and legs are noticably fewer. None have woken me in the night. In my depression, I have only cried 4 times, and not woken once to tears. I have a little more energy I even feel a little better about life. HOTHOUSE-Beginning of July. FEELS SOOOOOOO GOOD!! Each time I use it, I feel better. I feel the pain better too, the pain from old wounds not properly healed. The first 3 days hit every place that I had one time in my life hurt or broken. It is now July 11th, I still have bad pain in the really bad places, but it IS less and even easier to handle. I can breath better. I CAN sit out in the heat and sun comfortably. I would feel sick before and even come close to passing out after 10 minutes or so. I'm amazed with that one. I've found that certain things can still bring me down, but I can handle it much better. I have much more energy. POWER EYES-July 7th 2012. 15 minutes a day. In Alberta I was diagnosed with borderline glaucoma. I was recently tested in Ont, they said not. I have been wearing glasses for about 30 yrs. It will be interesting to see the change in my next test. Its been 5 days and there is improvement!! I can tell by the distance I am to my keyboard writing this. I can't wait to never need my glasses to find my glasses ever again!! Thank you Dr. Inoue and everyone involved with this gift. Mission Impossible?
An interview with Mrs. Yu-Jen Lin, a HTE Crown PRC.
After a new distributor in your downline has established his or her own groups and has achieved President level and is ready for new challenges, you need to step aside and let him or her lead their groups because your new responsibilities now are to provide assistance and support to them. You should hold meetings with your PRC downline on a regular basis to discuss and go through the developments of their groups in order to establish a healthy communication channel with them. When a downline group is facing a crisis, you must be objective, listen to them, discuss and study the problems with the group, and provide your help and expertise in a timely manner. Each organization is unique and tends to have its own unique problems. Mrs. Lin says, When a group is doing well there is definitely no lack of praises. However, when a group encounters some serious challenges, we need to support and motivate them even more so the group can move forward and keep growing." Mrs. Lin gets involved in every event and activity in her organization. She said, in a humorous way, With that being said, it doesnt mean that I do everything by myself! You have to make good use of the power (synergy) of your groups so you can make more with less! In the past six months, Mrs. Lin has been working closely with her groups to recruit and develop the market. During this time, she would always share some first hand information and feedback with leaders in her downline, and the leaders would then, in turn, communicate and discuss with other distributors in the groups. The leaders in her groups always reported back to her and kept her updated about the status of different events and activities. By sharing information, assigning tasks and responsibilities according to each persons specialty prior to each activity, maintaining a smooth communication channel in the organization, establishing a feedback system, Mrs. Lins groups have been able to perform efficiently and yielding fruitful results. To take on the challenges of next year, Mrs. Lin expects to work even harder. She plans to concentrate on developing more groups and assist them in becoming SOQI experts, capable of working independently. In addition, one of her major goals next year is to double the number of the SOQI Spa Centers in her organization. Unless you give up on yourself, we never give up on anyone, Mrs. Lin said. At the end of the interview, Mrs. Lin encouraged everyone in HTE family to adapt to new changes and challenges and keep moving forward. Mrs. Yu-Jen Lin Crown President Distributor Level Taiwan

From DIC to Crown PRC; from working as a one woman army to getting the entire family joining in; from sponsoring and helping the very first downline to now having thousands of them; from owning only one SOQI Spa center to now tens of them; from an income-less homemaker to now a million dollar income earner; here is our interview with Mrs. Yu-Jen Lin, a HTE Crown PRC with 100 percent devotion, determination, and dedication to whatever she does. With diligence, persistence and ambitions, she has completed many impossible missions. The story of her amazing journey to Crown PRC has moved and motivated thousands of HTE distributors. Mrs. Lin said, Nothing is impossible; the only thing is how determined you are. The secret of my success is very simple make myself a perfect example for my downline. We were enlightened and inspired by the stories she shared during the interview, which definitely provoked some food for thought. As a Crown PRC, how did she organize and motivate the enormous groups of people under her? How did she build her SOQI BEST team? Whenever people ask her about her secret of successful leadership, Mrs. Lin always generously shares with them and says, My success comes from creating successful duplications of what I do and sharing my successful experiences with people aspiring to succeed. Distributors of different levels have different objectives, tasks and goals. Mrs. Lin says that instead of teaching or instructing them what to do, she shows them and accompanies them to do what they are assigned to do, and she believes in hands-on learning. Because of this attitude, there is no reprimanding or finger-pointing but only praising and caring in her organization. Mrs. Lin also says that we need to be patient with new distributors, spend time with them, train them, and help them establish the right attitudes and concepts towards business and organization development.

JUNE 2, LAVAL QUEBEC DR. CABRIALES


It was so exciting to see my quebec group and reconnect during this wonderful, all day presentation. People were excited to once again hear dr. Cabriales and his continuing research with the far infrared dome, e-power, and most recently, the use of the alleviador (low level laser). To see david fafard receive acknowledgement in reaching pearl president was a proud moment indeed. I still remember sitting with david in ottawa over some sushi and discussing the business opportunity. I knew his excitement for the products and his desire to help others would translate into his success in this business. Congratulations to my first president! It was a pleasure to hear from mr. Pierre-paul bourque, international lecturer with aramis international, speak about his experience in studies on anti-aging using stem cells and his experience with dr. Canez of bio-tech clinic in mexico where he learned of a diagnostic platform for detecting cancer. Using this approach mr. Bourque was able to discern the efficacy of the far infrared dome in removing contaminants which could lead to cancer proliferation.. His enthusiasm for the far infrared and his evidence based theories on how it helped in his resolution of cancer, was certainly a highlight of the day. Our bodies are constantly producing our own stem cells through the stimulation of the nervous system using the chi machine. Without proper cell communication , hampered by toxicity, our cells cannot provide the proper rejuvenation of tissue. Our cars run on gas, but at some point, without oil changes, the engine will cease up. That is why the lymphatic drainage is of paramount importance, and it is done so effortlessly with our chi machine! It is great to have medical devices which enhance the bodys ability to support the biochemical processes needed for optimum health through lymphatic cleansing, greater cell permeability, and increased blood circulation. Mr. Bourque expressed very well the benefits of the thermal application of the dome and how it aids in removing the contaminants which hinder the natural healing response of the body. The buffet was a great hit with everyone as we took the opportunity to re-acquaint and share stories of what we are accomplishing in the business. I am so excited by what my groups are doing and their ongoing commitment to the business. In the afternoon i was given an opportunity to explain some of the goals we are working towards in building market awareness. In cooperation with tony izzo and steve daoust we have a three prong approach: 1.Gain acceptance of the product by the medical community 2.Work with insurance companies to recognize the potential benefits of having these devices as a component in their respective health care plans (corporate and public sector). 3.Gain acceptance of the devices for home care application (post hospital), with the insurance component included. Again, if there are distributors attempting to obtain a claim for reimursement on purchase of our devices and have been refused in Canada, please let me know, so that some contact can be made on your behalf to your respective insurance carrier. In closing, i thank all of the participants who had a hand in the preparation and execution of the seminar. The testimonies, guest speakers, and of course, hearing from our General Manager, Richard Chuang, on business practices we could use in our own businesses, made for a great learning experience .To everyone, thank you for all your support.
