Assignment You must complete a short piece of writing discussing your personal goals in relation to a hypothetical funk/pop studio session. Ensure that you research the style to fully understand what is required. Within the essay you must discuss what is needed to be successful in such a session and then discuss some of your personal goals relating to these. You should focus on the things that you feel you need to improve on to become a successful studio musician; these could include technique, sight-reading and improvisation. Make sure you give reasons why.
