Wiz Khalifa

Cameron Jibril Thomaz (born September 8, 1987 in Minot, North Dakota, United States), better known as Wiz Khalifa, is an American rapper, singer, actor and songwriter States. Wiz Khalifa is the son of a military father, her parents divorced when she was about three years. He lived in Germany, England and Japan before moving to Pittsburgh where he conducted his studies at Taylor Allderdice High School. He made his debut with the album Show and Prove, in 2006, which led him to sign for the Warner Bros. Records in 2007. Wiz Khalifa released his second album, Deal or No Deal, in November 2009. In 2011 they released their third album, Rolling Papers, which features the singles "Black and Yellow", "Roll Up", "On My Level" and "No Sleep". Wiz Khalifa is currently working on her fourth album, called ONIFC, due out on September 18, 2012.

Starting his career


Wiz Khalifa released his first mixtape, Prince of the City: Welcome to Pistolvania, in 2005. This mixtape was followed by his first studio album, Show and Prove, in 2006. That year, Wiz Khalifa was declared an "artist to watch" in Rolling Stone. In 2007, Wiz Khalifa signed with Fox Records and released two mixtapes through Rostrum Records: Grow Season, premiered on July 4, 2007, and Prince of the City 2, released on November 20, 2007. His debut Warner Bros. single "Say Yeah" reached number 20 on the Hot Rap Tracks chart. Wiz Khalifa released the mixtapes Power Rangers in September 2008, and Flight School in April 2009 with Rostrum Records.

Wiz Khalifa broke away from Warner Bros. Records in July 2009 after numerous delays in the release of their album First Flight planned. Wiz Khalifa said "I learned a lot during my time here and matured as an artist during the process.'m Happy to go with my material and having the opportunity to be in control of my next moves". Appeared with Girl Talk, Modey Lemon, Donora, Grand Buffet, and Don Caballero at the Amphitheatre at Station Square in Pittsburgh on July 31, 2009, where he announced that his relationship with Warner Bros. Records was over. Continuing his association with Rostrum Records, Wiz Khalifa released the single "Teach U to Fly", and the mixtape How Fly, in collaboration with New Orleans rapper Curren $ y, on August 9, 2009. Wiz Khalifa introduced a more melodic style on the mixtape, alternating between singing and rapping. He was the opening act for U-God on CMJ Music Marathon 2009 in New York. Wiz Khalifa released the mixtape Burn After Rolling on November 2, 2009, where he raps over beats from other artists. He released his second album, Deal or No Deal, on 24 November 2009.3

Rise to fame

He made a tour with 20 dates with the rapper Yelawolf, Deal or No Deal Tour. Wiz Khalifa released the free mixtape Kush and Orange Juice for download on April 14, 2010. In June 2010, said he was working on a new album, but did not know through what label it lanzara.4 On July 30, Wiz Khalifa has confirmed to MTV that he had signed with Atlantic Records.5 collaborated on Wiz Khalifa remix of the song "Super High" by Rick Ross, alongside Curren $ y. He appeared on the mixtape Grey Goose, Head Phones, and Thirsty Women by rapper MC, 6 and in the song "The Breeze (Cool)" by rapper Wale. Wiz Khalifa was named Hottest Breakthrough MC of 2010 by MTV, winning with nearly 70,000 votes. Wiz Khalifa appeared at the Soundset Festival 2010 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He also performed at the festival Rock the Bells 2010, along with hip hop veterans Wu-Tang Clan, Snoop Dogg, Lauryn Hill, A Tribe Called Quest, Rakim, KRS-One, Jedi Mind Tricks and Slick Rick. Wiz Khalifa declined an invitation to tour with Drake and launched his tour "Waken Baken", a national tour of 50 cities along with rapper Yelawolf. The tour, which lasted from September 2010 until November 2010, sold all entradas.7 In November 2010, while in the East Carolina University, Wiz Khalifa was arrested for possession and trafficking of marijuana. He was released the next morning after paying a fine of $ 300,000, and continued his tour.8 March 29]], 2011 released their third album, Rolling Papers. The first single from the album, "Black and Yellow" hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming his first number one. Wiz Khalifa won in the category "Best New Artist" at the BET Awards 2011. English collaborated with rapper Tinie Tempah on the song "Till I'm Gone", belonging to album Tempah Disc-Overy.
