But as tools, they multiply the good we want to do. Sadly, many people have made them their taskmasters, not their task workers. In the next four weeks, well pray together that God liberate us from the shackles of money, sex, and power. Instead, we want to use them for the glory of God. This is a hot seriesMoney, Sex, Power. I know and understand that we dont hear these very controversial topics often, especially in church. At the Feast, however, we dont sidestep a topic no matter how complex it is. As long as it will help you love God, others, and yourself moreand bless youwell tackle it. In this series, well talk about the 3 drivers of the world today: money, sex, and power, the 3 things that shaped the different cultures of today. Money, sex, and power are the threelegged stool of modern culture. They are areas of human experience littered with land mines, quicksand, and deep dark caverns of shame, fear, and regret. We have to be careful when we march into these areas because we often unwittingly recreate within new practices the very problems we intended to resolve. So sacred sexuality, like cooperative economics and power sharing, can be revolutionary but they can also be repressive. We can use these progressive ideals to turn the world on its head, to build bridges and communities, and to personally grow and heal. But we can also use them to uphold and maintain the status quo. Last week, the fourth and final point in the series yoUnique was concluded with a talk that tackles our unique mission. Each of us has a distinct mission that has been committed to us from the day we were born. We will understand the blueprint of this plan by associating the 3 things that constitute our divine alignment to an archers tools: Passion (symbolized by a bow), Potential (represented by an arrow), and Purpose (portrayed by the target). Our passion is something we always love to do even without getting paida fire inside us for something we want to live and die for. Our potential is our core giftour strength that makes us a superstar in our own world, something we do best and excel on. Our purpose is the intersection of our passion and potential. These 3 are the elements that have to be aligned in order for us to be successful. Is there alignment in your life for what you really want? In the end, Bro. Eng said that God is really the Archer, and each of us is a target. And He is looking for someone to be His representative in this world to fulfill His divine plan. - Jena Diwa

SHARINGS Listen To The Shepherds Voice

We are Gods sheep. He knows each of us by our name and would always call us whenever we go astray. And for someone who was baptized in a nonCatholic faith but has never been in practice like Annie Bautista, 55, it was never too late to listen to the Shepherds voice. Life used to be smooth-sailing for Anniematerial abundance, weekend dinners in restaurants, and out-oftown trips. But the loss of her husband drastically changed everything. And suddenly, her lukewarm faith grew even colder as she denied to herself the existence of God amidst her pain. But then a breakthrough took place. One day, her daughter brought her a ticket to Bo Sanchezs Truly Rich seminar, which she hesitantly attended. But unknown to her, it would be the moment she would find tucked inside the seminar pamphlets the Feast Near You invitation card, which she ignored at first but later on became her very ticket to a new life. Out of curiosity, Annie attended the Feast Valenzuela one Sunday in August 2011. It was her very first time to hear the Holy Mass. Following the mass was the worship where the song Complete was played. With tears in her eyes, she recalled, Dun ako nag-umpisang matouch. Nafi-feel ko ang lyrics. Iyak ako nang iyak. Di ko alam kung bakit. (I was deeply touched by the lyrics. I broke down in tears without really knowing why.) And that only kept her coming back for more because she returned the following Sunday and was never absent since then. She was left with great awe with the sudden turn of events. So as a way of giving back to the Lord for transforming and blessing her, she has been serving as an usherette and has been a part of a caring group. She has even brought with her in the Feast her family and friends. Sundays have truly become her feast day with the Lord. And to spread the good news, she tells others: Never forget the Lord. He will guide our path. He will comfort us.
