1. Overview
This plug & play ICS repeater was developed to get installed in small spaces such as small offices, hotel rooms and small stores. This low output power ICS repeater also supplies easy coverage expansion to users at lower cost. By using patented interference cancellation technology(Digital Signal Processing) ICS repeater simply clears the problems which RF repeaters and other in-building solutions have and provides high quality service and easy coverage expansion. This ICS repeater removes feedback signal up to 99.9% and enables service operators to provide subscribers with stable and quality service

Description The LED is turned on/off when power is on/off The LED is turned on when alarms occur It is shown when the repeater is shutdown due to input signal which is higher than rated signal It is shown when inner temperature of the repeater is higher than normal operation temperature It is shown when the repeater oscillates It is shown when Isolation level between a link antenna and a service antenna is lower than rated Isolation level between the antennas It shows input signal level which is transmitted from BTS 1~4 columns : Normal operation 5 columns : Input signal level is too high. Users should change the direction of a link antenna. It shows isolation level between a link antenna and a service antenna. 2 columns or more : Normal operation The more columns are shown, the more Isolation level is secured.

the repeater with a holder. The repeater should be installed where moisture or water is not found. Combine a suction cup mount with a link antenna.
Link antenna
Attach a link antenna to the window after removing a protection film. Change the direction of the antenna to secure proper Isolation level. Connect the antenna cable to the link antenna port.
Antenna cable
A longer antenna cable can be used according to Isolation level between the antennas. Cable loss and shield characteristic should be considered when a longer cable is used. Connect DC port of AC adaptor to power port of the repeater.
Power cable
Only the adaptor which is supplied by Nextlink should be used. An inferior adaptor can cause damage to the repeater. The repeater performs initial operation for 10 seconds when power is supplied and all LEDs will be on. After initial operation, the repeater starts to perform normal functions. At this moment, all LEDs operate in accordance with installation environments.
Status check
The repeater works properly when ALARM LED is off. The repeater will be started from minimum gain and will be set the automatically by checking the input level and isolation For stable service, Isolation LED should be checked when installation is completed. Adjust the direction of a link antenna so that at least 2 columns of Isolation LED can be secured. A cable which is longer than 2M can be used when enough isolation level is not secured. Output power will be reduced or mobile service is impossible if enough isolation level repeaters gain
is not secured. Securing enough isolation level is very important because the repeater may get damaged if signal which is higher than rated signal is transmitted to the repeater. To prevent this, isolation level should be checked periodically. Users should change the direction of the antenna when higher or lower input signal is transmitted to the repeater. Please check the status of Input LED. The repeater may get damaged by higher input signal.

If Shutdown LED icon is still on after 90 seconds, please turn off the repeater and turn it on again. High input signal level There is a possibility that signal which is higher than rated signal is transmitted to the repeater if Shutdown LED is not turned off. In that case, please change the direction of Antenna. Temperature alarm TEMP LED is shown when inner temperature of the repeater is higher than normal operational temperature. It means temperature of the place where
the repeater is installed is extremely high or low. In this case, the installation ALARM + TEMP LED ON place should be changed. Inferior repeater If TEMP LED is still turned on after changing installation place, please change the repeater into new one because it is inferior. Oscillation Check the isolation and change the direction of the antenna or the repeater. Please turn off the repeater and turn it on again if Oscillation LED ALARM + OSCILLATION Inferior repeater illuminates. If Oscillation LED is still shown after repeating same process for 3~4 times, it means the repeater should be replaced. Not enough antenna isolation ALARM + ISOLATION Isolation LED will be shown If antenna isolation is not over 56dB. In this case, change the direction of the link antenna or the repeater. If enough antenna isolation is not secured, it may cause decrease of output power or oscillation.
